I've followed both teams throughout the season and it is highly plausible. The Sock Bears made their team from nothing this season and the manger really knows what he's doing. The Celtics just stuck with their relegated Div2 team for the entire season.

Wow, I didn't really notice this thread was going so active and I was such a big part of it.

I feel pretty good about winning the title this season. I lost 1 game all season, and it was to the Dream Shakers by 2 points when my starting C (and best overall player) went down with an injury in the first half. The ratings my players put up every game are much higher than The Dream Shakers, and I'll have HCA, a large enthusiasm advantage, and will be training GS through the playoffs just to be sure.

For what it's worth, The Dream Shakers might lose to dmytro on Saturday. Dmytro beat them near the end of the season to ruin the bid for 22-0, and has been playing really well lately. I wouldn't be shocked by the upset if it happens.

Told you! Sock Bears were going to win and they did. The Celtics are going to be taking the extra spot now.

This game should be put up a a marquee so everyone can see it. Never play TIE in a 2nd round playoff game against a quality opponent. Make sure you win that game and get to the finals where a single loss doesn't end your season.

At the same time, jk704 was the only team in D3 that was assured of promoting no matter what he did during the playoffs so perhaps he would have otherwise played it differently.

An update on III.9: The Toronto Ravens beat Black tigers 96-76, and The Dream Shakers beat dmytro 106-76. Both the Ravens and the Dream Shakers used Normal enthusiasm in the semi-finals, so I doubt either has a major advantage in the finals as far as that goes.
