Xerxes is it true that the Quran said one day the Earth's will orbit will steer right into the Sun ans everyone on the planet will be melted like ice?

When a Muslim told me that I told him that, the Earths orbit doesn't change much, it orbits are determined by the Suns and Earths gravitational pull... and its been like that for the 4 billion or so years. Scientists has said one day in the distant future say.. 6 billion years when our Sun has used up all its hydrogen fuel, the Sun would expand and in turn gobble up Mercury and Venus. Earth would still remain in orbit but its surface would like scorched like the current surface of Mercury and Venus. Soon after the Sun would implode and blow up as a supernova. The Earth in turn would be incinerated by the explosion and would cease to exist... the star dust will settle and be the building blocks for new stars and planets.

I think I lost that Muslim after I said orbit.. and gravitation... it was very apparent to be he had very little understanding of astronomy, he didn't even know the planets and what order or size they are. All he knew was that the Earth will orbit right into the Sun one day... but didnt know how.. didnt care how..

for those that where following the convo on chat last week about rebounding being expensive on guards.

the 100k guard i was talking about has 40k of his salary solely being spent on taking his rebounding from lv 1 to lv 7 .

the 40 k could be spent in many other areas on other players much more effectively as most guards will only grab a small number of rebounds due to how the game engine runs and well how basketball is played.
so really your paying 40k extra for a chance to get an extra 5-6 rebounds that you may have got anyway.

just on this player the 40 k could be spent on

3 extra lv's of od or
18 extra lv's of driving and handling ( 9 on each) 0r
10 extra lv's of passing (at which point he will change to a pg)
unlimited lv's of inside shot ( limted by potential yes , but never payed for in salary :) )
or a bunch of other skill ups (think the above got my point across)

there just examples on one player whose salary goes from 60k roughly to 100k roughly for a few levels of rebounding.

Technically, the Earth could collide with the Sun in the event that a large enough asteroid collided with the Earth causing the Earth's current orbit to become unfixed and consequently the Earth would swirl into and collide with the sun.

No Idea about that but Wazza's rebouding is on level 9 and hes earning 95k atm

are you saying if he has level 1 rebounding he would earn 55k instead?
Wazza has decent guard skills as well... so he can be considered a guard if his reb was at level 1.

How did you work out that the salary accountable by the rebounding was 40k?

out of these three which would you prefer ( as they all cost basically the same)

salary = 101 k

2 , jump shot - phenomenal jump range - prolific
outside def - prodigious handling - sensational
driving - sensational passing - prominent
inside shot - tremendous inside def - marvelous
rebounding - atrocious shot blocking -proficient

salary = 102k

3 , jump shot - phenomenal jump range - tremendous
outside def - marvelous handling - wondrous
driving - wondrous passing - wondrous
inside shot - respectable inside def - respectable
rebounding -atrocious shot blocking - respectable

salary = 101k

4 ( go a little more extreme)

jump shot - phenomenal jump range - prolific
outside def - marvelous handling - prominent
driving - prominent passing - stupendous
inside shot - legendary inside def - marvelous
rebounding -atrocious shot blocking - respectable

salary = 102 k (and he becomes a pf )


so who would honestly take player 1 ?


edit : my mistake on player 4 now fixed , but notice that if he had respectable rebouding his salary was increased by 90k

There is no way player 4 would be 102k in salary.

check it yourself with a salary calc.

Almost all Salary Calculators are inaccurate since all the changes to salary over the past couple of seasons.
But link me to the calculator you used and I'll check.

But check your work again, it is impossible for player 4 to have the same salary as player 1 ;)

Typical ignorance. Actually 1400 years ago while the decadent west believed that the sun revolved around the earth which was flat the Quran said:

3) "He created the heavens and the earth for Truth He ended the night today and ends day into night." (Quran 39:5). A long and complex explination indicated that this means that the earth is round.

4) "Glory be to Him who created all in pairs. From what the earth produces, from themselves and from things unknown to them" (Quran 36:36). Matter and anti-matter.

5) "No, really, if not stop, we will seize him by the forelock, a lying sinful forelock" (Qur'an, 96: 15-16). In the West they thought the liver or the heart controlled emotions whereas it was revelaed here correctly to be the front of the brain.

6) Allah splits the seed and kernel. He brings forth the living from the dead, and produces the dead out of the living. (Qur'an, 6:95) Splitting the atom to create power or bombs.

7) the moon when it is full, you will mount up stage by stage! Qur'an, 84:18-20) Staged spacecraft to the moon.

8) "Their skins will bear witness against them as to what they have been doing" (41:21) Fingerprints.

9) "Corruption has spread on land and sea because of what men’s hands have wrought" (30:42) Environmental pollution by man.

10) "And among His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and of whatever living creatures He has spread forth in both. And He has the power to gather them together whenever He pleases." (42:30) Life on other planets.

There are more predicting, TV, planes, AIDS, the Panama Canal and dozens of historical events, but forget them. Did the west know of any of these 10 scientific facts 1400 years ago.

a random calculator I put found put player 1 at 100K, and player 4 at around 190K, so I'm gonna disregard that one.

I'll compare players 1 and 3.

Their attributes as you put them are a little deceiving. Player 1 can go up to wonderous passing with no impact on wage. In addition, handling and driving have bugger all impact on wages - he can go to the same level as player 3 for about an extra 10K wages. Therefore, the difference between the two is 2 levels of JR + 10K less in salary, versus 6 levels of rebounding.

Personally, I'd probably take the rebounding, but its personal choice
