Allright here comes my second appeal this season as I feel the MVP voting is completely wrong in my game. Here is the match report as it stands:
Monkey Business vs. Chelsea Seagulls 98 - 78
3 Yakir Elbaz Monkey Business 28 PTS 9 REB. There was a shootout between the SFs in this match and while the scores were even Yakir came away with the victory.
2 Rober Forbes Chelsea Seagulls 28 PTS 6 REB. While normal stars Oliver (2-14) and Jared (3-14) couldn't buy a basket Rober was the one effective Seagull. He was interviewed after the game but no-one could understand what he was saying.
1 Zoltán Bui Monkey Business 18 PTS 13.5 rating. With Monkey Business having their trademark "everyone performs at about the same level" (TM) results Bui stands out purely due to a few extra points and a fair FG%.
The reason I believe it is inaccurate is because it is a blowout. The game was done by the 3rd and my bench played his starters in the 4th. Hence, I believe stats should be looked at at the end of 3rd quarter rather than the stats at the end of the game. Here is what I believe is wrong with it:
3 points: Yakir Elbaz played a majority of the game with 46 minutes. Despite the shootout in the 4th, He was only on 13 points at the end of the 3rd. I don't believe he is worthy on all 3 points.
2 points:Rober Forbes. Forbes scored 15 points in the 4th quarter against my scrubs. My backup SG (deltell) was marking him at SF in a M2M defense in the 4th. You can't be valuable in garbage time no matter what stats you put up against scrubs.
1 point: Zoltán Bui. Clearly the best player at the end of the 3rd quarter. The fact that it was a blowout means he only played 31 minutes for the game as he wasn't needed in the 4th.
Therefore, I believe that Bui should get 3 points, Elbaz get 2 and Forbes get 1 for a consolation prize.
Anyone agree?
