QUARTER FINALS SUMMARY
The first games of the tournament to be played on a neutral court and with playoff enthusiasm saw all games, except one, close throughout with both teams capable of ending up victorious and booking their place in the semi-finals. The show case game was between Tatatallfella and Tide Of Fire and it definitely did not disappoint with the scoring being very tight throughout. The final result saw Tide of Fire emerge winners by a score of 110-102 and end Tatatallfella's chance of regaining the cup for a fourth successive season. The three other games saw the underdogs challenge their opponents in all four quarters but couldn't manage to come away with a win. Gauson defeated Cambois Donkeys by a score 102-89 as well as Stinkilemons ending the cup dream for division III side, Shandys Dandies. The last game of the quarters saw A Dogs convincingly defeat KD Allstars who unfortunately had to gift the game to his opponent through the minutes played this week.

The semi finals feature 3 EBBL teams and Stinkilemons being the solitary team from another division. The two games will see an all-EBBL clash between Gauson and A Dogs whilst Stinkilemons faces a tough ask of reaching the finals with a game against Tide of Fire.

All the best to the last four teams and congratulations on getting this far.

Leagues are as follows:
EBBL (3/16)
II.1 (0/16)
II.2 (0/16)
II.3 (0/16)
II.4 (1/16)

yeah, ToF are odds on for the double now. Congrats.
Still, at least I know now that my lot can still beat your lot (but there is next to no margin for error).

SEMI FINALS SUMMARY
The semi finals featured four high caliber teams with all them being ranked in the top 8 and above. The first semi final saw Tide of Fire book their place in the final by comfortably defeating the last division II team in the tournament in Stinkilemons. The other semi final saw an intriguing encounter with several lead changes and tied scores with Gauson edging the first half by just 1 point however A Dogs came back strongly in the second half to book his place in the final, winning by a score of 88-75.

The final will feature two experienced and elite EBBL teams in Tide of Fire and A Dogs with both teams aiming to win their first ever cup as well as being entered and competing among buzzerbeaters prodigious teams in the B3. I wish all the best to both of you, congratulations on your fantastic cup season and may the BB god's be with you both.

Nice recap, just goes to show how much difference a neutral ground makes at this stage in the competition with my game in particular. Got battered by Gauson at his place earlier on in the season in the league, but nonetheless a great cup tie!
My second final, shame it's against another one of the big two, I'll need all the luck I can get!

Good luck tonight Zander, I really wish my shape was a little stronger, it's very tight and promises to be a close one. I'm not sure I'll make it on as I've got some work on, so all the best!

FINALS DAY
After 9 rounds of walkovers, EBBL teams being knocked out by lower opposition, multiple games decided by a single possession and a division III team reaching the quarter finals for the first time in four seasons, it all boiled down to the showdown between two fantastic EBBL sides in A Dogs and Tide of Fire.
The first quarter began with Tide of Fire dominating affairs thanks to the brilliance of Luke Innes and Jeremy MacAusland. The second quarter was a different story with both teams competing every shot, ball and rebound leading to the second quarter being tied at 24 each, meaning Tide of Fire went in at half time by a score of 59-46. In the second half there were glimpses where A Dogs had looked to claw his way back to a single digit margin, largely down to Rudolph Esposto and Loris Caddeo. The final quarter saw Tide of Fire see out the game scoring 32 points to A Dogs 29 and winning his first National Tournament by a score of 112-95 so congratulations goes out to LA-Vecx on this fantastic achievement.

FINALS MVP
There were three candidates from Tide of Fire competing for the right to be crowned finals MVP, these were Luke Innes, Jeremy MacAusland and Adair Baiano but for me, the award goes to the man who shot 80% from the field scoring 29 points, gobbled up 12 rebounds and dished out 5 assists, so congratulations go out to Luke Innes on a remarkable performance.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the thread this season, I look forward to doing it again for next season's tournament.
Question is: Will Vecx rule England for the next couple of seasons or will a new champion be born?
