I agree with this proposal. There, now I said it, so it's doomed to fail.

I think Perriwinkle definitely wins the most patient BB manager of the season.


Not sure if that was sarcasm directed at me or not, but thanks for bringing it back on topic, and i apologize to everyone for my part in derailing it.

The reason I agree with this proposal is that the hoarding tax won't stop inflation as it doesn't change the amount of revenue teams have access to. It is quite easy to generate millions each season (even in the lower leagues), so it's just a matter of investing your money before you pay the tax. I think the hoarding tax should happen to stop longterm inactives, I just believe the increase in salary floor would be a more effective tool to eliminate inflation.

Your weekly profit is all your income minus you expenses. And your expenses include your staff's salaries - cut them around the leagues's average and with players salaries around the floor you'll be able to make profit more than everyone playing competitive.


I'll explain myself a little better. When I said that lower ranked teams in a division should be able to make more money than higher ranked teams, I didn't mean that I should be making more money than the rest of the league. With the amount I'm spending on training and scouting, I don't expect to make that much money and I'm fine with that. What I meant is that it should be possible, which for me it is, for lower seeded teams to make more than those above them so that they could catch up to higher ranked teams. But the problem with raising the salary too much is that it may make it impossible for lower teams to make more money which could give the higher ranked teams a permanent advantage.

The higher ranked teams already have permanent advantages and raising the floor would solidify their position even more. I am on your side in this case.

It seems that it's now an official change for the next season.

In my division, my salary floor jump from 167K to 210K!

Please explain how higher ranked teams with higher expenses will continue to be advantaged by their competitors still making more profit than them.

well hey...

i was making over 140k a week (i have a 70k trainer)

i figured firing my players dont make sense since im below the salary floor? ;)

eh... i think i'll handle my business, i'd love to see how a 6k arena like spanish town's does though.
