I will say McWhore spent slightly more than three months on my roster. That's not exactly a rental player. He was limited for NBBA use. If I hadn't promoted, he would still be on my roster. One of my all time favorite players even only playing for me for three months.
A whore is pretty much, by definition, a rental. (Or a layaway?) ;)
Childs was sort of the opposite for me - I would have kept him had I promoted, and I kicked around the notion of keeping him instead of Thayer when formulating my plan if I didn't promote, but the absolute boatload of buttgravy that he put up in an LI in the conference final killed that thought.
