[Has anybody actually experienced this yet?]

I 'm reluctant to even speak about this... Knocking on wood like crazy right now!
Because I've been pretty injury-free most of my time playing this game. I've always had a high level doctor and I think that's been a huge factor in detering injuries... But once I went with the taping injuries specialty... And all of a sudden I started getting little in-game injuries left and right... A guy would get hurt, and if the injury was not significant enough he would come back in to start the next quarter.

It started to feel to me like the game engine would use that specialty as a way of taking a good player out of the game for a little while to make the game closer or even influence a win or loss... After about a half a season I bought a new doctor and went away from that specialty.

I can see the handwriting on the wall... Phelan is solid, but not quite elite. The French pickup midseason wasn't enough to make a push, my bigs are aging, and the Great 8 is just stacked. I can't see a realistic path to beating any of the 5-7 seeds in relegation, so I am tapping out. The French guy's for sale, and I'll wait to see what the DIII I drop to looks like before any other roster moves.

I first started BB in season 8, with a team of the same name, and ran it up until season 30 and made it to DIII. I stepped away and jumped back in around season 48. It's been a great first run to DIV II, time to get some young blood and recalculate. Best of luck to everybody the rest of the season and playoffs!

They sure did. And injured on of my best players for 2 weeks in the process. Hope that 1 game doesn’t cause me to tailspin down to D3.

Keep after it! And you never know - we still have to play the games. Version 1 of the Lobstahs owned version 1 of Rip City (my reset was forced for running multiple teams so you can extend that dominance to Heathcliff Attackers, Green Mountain Hustlers, and Dougs Fir, plus one other that I can’t remember the name of).

I’ve struggled to stay up in D2 and this is by far the toughest competition I’ve yet to face at this level. This is my most talented team and I’m a .500 club.

This is a tough division. Last season I made the playoffs and knocked out the number one seed in the first round. This season, A complete disaster. Facing certain demotion, I knew I'd have to unload some of my salary, because there was no way I could afford my team at the next lower league. I ended up selling half my team salary. I have a couple good players to work with and train still, and have over $3 million in bank. Never had that much money before. I don't want to squander it on some bonehead purchases either. Either way, good luck all and until we meet again!

With these savings, you can build a good team to attempt a one-season comeback. Good luck!

I hear you man. I'll finish 11-11 and this will for 7th place! I mean dude that's tough. But like he said one positive is that you are demoting with cash, and you can build the way you want. I've done this twice now, and each time I've been able to hone in on my training plan and really think through the difficult transition switching training positions.

What a crazy game!

I went into Saturday night's action tied with Fort Llama and holding a slim 49-45 point differential lead for fourth seed and a playoff spot.

With about 10 minutes to go in the game I was down 26 points and fort lama was down only five points. So in that final 10 minutes left in the regular season Fort Llama held a 40-23 advantage and seemingly all but secured the final playoff spot.

However, with my team facing Warroad's backups, my guy's owned the 4th quarter and at the same time Milwaukee took over the game against Fort Llama, outscoring them the rest of the way by 10 points; a 26 point swing in the last 10 minutes to win the point differential battle 40-30 And luckily clinch the final playoff spot, where Tar Team will kick our ass on Tuesday :-) lol
