Yes... You are correct. Stunners on Saturday and then Kanazawa on Tuesday and then Yoks...It will be tough but a normal against stunners and a TIE on Tuesday and if Kotets GSs are jacked I might get a TIE in the cup...
So here are my predictions...
#1. Sharman....unless he gets another injury he should squeak by in a close one...by 3
#6. 3A....just bought another C and should keep it close but he is on the road so he has to be 10 points better which he isn't.

#3. Kitakyushu...Kotets has never beaten me..and I won't give him one now..by 16
#8. Kotets....has no one to guard Kirk which is not a good thing. He is 0-16 and soon to be 0-17 against the mighty Headhunters.

#4. Swoosh....by far the best match up..HCA/ GSs will be huge in this one...I like Swoosh in this one....by 4
#5. Yokuzuna...his first real game in the cup so far..will have to CT to win but in BB anything is possible

#7. Fumuoff....Has been getting smacked around a bit lately but needs this win and should get it...by 13
#24. BBstar...If fumuoff gets cute with his tactics he could be watching the final 4 with Wolph next week, but it won't happen...We could see some new players bought....

Intresting how 7 of the top 8 teams made the final.

Thank sharman for that.

its going to be a good finish to the cup, no doubt about that. the easy cup title for Sharman days are over.

Sharman, you gotta earn this one.

Somebody let me a hold a no. 2 pencil cause they testin' me.

I'm planning to.... I wouldn't mind 3A's PF though for my Chinese collection... I assume you are all forgetting my self imposed transfer embargo.... had I ducked in the past weeks and picked up the French guard & Chilean big man you'd all be planning for next season already - as it stands, you have a much greater chance of winning this season as even if I want a rent a guy, he'll have to originate from China

Maybe you can all ask Wolph to get into a bidding war on a Chinese monster free agent with me!

How good has the JBBL gotten? On Tuesday we had 3 games decided by less than 10 points and two more decided by less than 15.

Every home team is ranked higher, suggesting that they all should move on. But we know the cup too well.

There WILL be an upset. Maybe even two. The 3A/Sharman game is intriguing. My game with Yokozuna is also. We will see a JBBL new comer make it to the final 4.

Its looking like a night of must see tv on thursday. I might even skip out on basketball practice to catch these games.

The other thing that's gotta be a relative positive (for JBBL) is that there is a string of guys in Div II keen to get there. Perhaps our teams aren't quite up to it (no kidding!), but there are half a dozen or more teams who are keen and prepared to do the work to get there. Hell, we've got 4 solid candidates in II.1 alone (and there are more across the other Div IIs)...

If the draw was the other way around then you, YC and I would have to CT to progress (or at least have a chance to)....

I'm happy with my B3 performance stats today so unless there are silly foul-outs or injuries tomorrow should be a cracker.

On the surface, i would say that home games save us a CT...but if you really think about it, its dangerous for us.

Very easy to rely too much on home court and think its enough. But all things considered, im pretty freaking glad to be playing this one at home.

Not sure if I'm right in saying this but if we had a larger userbase would the quarter-finals also be on neutral court? To CT your quarter is not that bad given that we enter the Allstar week so, CT - League (almost certain loss if you advance in cup) - Cup CT, Cup CT..... still might be powerful enough if the other semi finalists advanced in the same way.

Lots of permutations..... I'm hoping that my Russian Crowd Specialist and almost namesake (Sherman) can help give me the 1 point extra needed!
