Updated OP with the Official 13-14 Toronto Raptors roster.

I'm still hopeful for the season, keep in mind we are 3 games in. There has been no semblance of offense with this team, and its starting to look like Rudy Gay is doing his best Andrea Bargnani impression knowing he's likely to get traded this season. Landry Fields and Tyler Hansborough are looking good off the bench, and if Coach Casey can start getting his players to start running some plays, then this Roster could still sneak into 6-7th place. Basketball is a game and season of runs and Raptors have potential to go on a run this season if everything clicks.

So, I found myself watching the last quarter of the Raptor game tonight. Boy, was I completely not surprised at what transpired.

Hey... let's band together and lose the game

1. More than 2 minutes, Howard has missed his last 4 (or 6?) free throws. Let's allow Harden drive the lane for a layup instead.
2. 34 seconds left. Let's not shoot early for a 2-for-1 situation. Let's dribble the ball around until the shot clock runs out and jack up the longest 2-pt jump-shot we can.
3. Screw up a 3 on 1 fast break (but get bailed out with a foul call scrambling for the ball.)
4. Rockets 6 for 22 from 3. Let's leave Lin (3 of 5) open for a 3.
5. Quote from the CSN commentators, "If there is 1 guy on the Raptors that wants to win, it's Kyle Lowry." (after Lowry hit 2 3's back to back)
6. Foul out while just standing there (Lowry, as Beverly jumps into him on a rebound.)

Aaaaaand, I fell asleep and woke up to see they did indeed lose. Awesome. Wiggins or bust!

If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.

Gay and DeRozan shot 17-62. The Raptors had 10 assists on 114 FGA. DeRozan got blocked as many times (6) as he made a field goal.

That team is watchable.

The team that won tonight was watchable. Tonight.

Next game, they might be back to their old tricks

Lol. Playing tonight against the Spurs. I have said it all along, they are a legitimate playoff team in this years weak Eastern Conference. Rudy Gay really messed with team chemistry.

I've been pleasantly surprised by how well the team has played this season. Hopefully we can stay ahead of Chicago and Brooklyn.

Best scenario for the raps to get some revenge, and show their mettle

~45 minutes until Game 1 versus the elderly Brooklyn Nets. Most pundits have the Raps as underdogs even with the higher seed and home court advantage. I'm interested to see how the reffing is in the series as it looks like the NBA is hoping that Brooklyn makes it another round to face the Heat. Go Raps Go!
