An announcement from management.

After a long discussion with the ruling comittee tonight it needs to be made clear what the process will be for season four. At the moment the plan is three leagues, west, east and south. In each league each federation will have three teams. That is a total of nine teams for each Federation.

As a result we will be needing more teams for the Fishbowl in season four. Anyone is welcome and free to invite anyone to come and join (although please be careful about not poaching from the Tea Cup). However we cannot promise what federation those new teams will end up on. At the moment we plan to have a draft of all of those teams. The purpose of a draft as we all know is to try and keep the competition even. We are not planning another (controversial) serpentine draft.

If the draft was to be held today the draft order would be:
1 Guppies
2 Sharks
3 Kevin
4 Calamari

I am sure everyone realises an even competition is good for everyone, it makes it more interesting and more fun, and so I also hope everyone will be happy with this.

This makes a total of nine however we believe most likely two teams may not be returning to the Calamari so they would require two draft picks. Fourth and fifth.

Undoubtably there will be more movement, there always is. However at the moment it seems like five teams will be drafted and we already have close to ten teams that have expressed at least some sort of interest, so please do not promise anyone anything unless you are certain your federation will have a draft pick and will draft that team.

Federations always have the right to renounce the rights to teams who can become free agents and join the draft. Individual teams should also have the right to leave a Federation and nominate for the draft.

um didnt we allready do the draft for next season ?
there the outcasts this season.

we have already signed a free agent as this is what we where told start of this season

hey xerxes why do you pity us?

is it because our teams in the east are strong that they have no competition and have to just smack around teams like you every week?

zyler - from what i understand the teams you drafted in the outcast draft you get to keep, so tremell and matt are yours, we are just drafting any new teams that want to join for season 4 or any existing teams that will be free agents like maybe fanny and the gcs

but if you guppies get first pick then in effect you will get to choose whoever you want for your team anyway

so if your way lop sided deal went through for season 4 you would add 1 A+ team, 2 A teams, a B team with issues and a C team while we would add 2 B teams and a C team - seem fair to you?

the only deal on the table right now is 1 team for 1 team.

so have no idea what your talking about.

earlyer in the season it was said that the 2 teams with 8 squads would have to pick up a "free agent" for next season.
that is what we have done.

if theres only 2 teams needing one team each why are we running a whole new draft seems pointless to me

we may need as many as 3 new teams if a deal cant be done
you may need 2
there is word that sharks need 1
and kevin needs 1

and if anyone else pulls out that is nearly 10

MVPs and Ladders done for week five, phew. And here is the top 11 remembering one of the top 10 will win 3 months of free supporter for his coach. Interesting to see some familiar names up near the top Smeltz, Xie, Arranz, but funny to see Bikin instead of Duff Duff and MacArthur instead of Dell. PCC is my tip to win it this season and mostly just has to worry about the other guys on his team outplaying him. Great to see Niko equal top for PP, Udi would probably be higher if not injured, Pashang has declared a jihad on the top spot and finally Oliver is up there. Respect!
