Pretty sure I said in the past that if we combined my money with your desire we'd really have something. Conversely, if we combined your money with my desire we'd have... Danny Devito in the movie "Twins" maybe?

Don't give me that you don't care. I know you're burning with the desire to get that 200-0 loss so you can go out on top of the bottom.

yeah, i did still enjoy PL games for a while. Was talking about regular games.
Successfully missing every shot in a game, all atrocious (low) at home, & PP100 tripled by a fan were all fun.

Why don't you help the economy out and get rid of some of that money in your treasure chest ;)?

I'm quite afraid of Shikago's roster though. Especially the 25 or so 40+ old players that could be sold for $200,000 each. Heck, they could buy a title with those old men.

I've already got way more cash on hand than selling 25 guys for $200k would bring. (thought that was known?) Just haven't really cared since season 20 maybe. Even went from 2011 to summer of 2013 with the same roster. Nobody but Brain & his King Drive Bawlers for a brief season or 2 could've outspent me probably.

Amazing I totally misunderstood that LOL. I remember thinking what the heck does she mean. She can't have that much cash LOL. Goes to show how close attention I pay sometimes. I was just reviewing my transactions...I have transferred in/out almost 10M in two years. Where as you have only completed 15M in roughly in six years.

So if there is one thing to learn from this is that the Lethargy have an extreme case of frugality!

What's interesting to me anyway is to see how your strategy works in Utopia. I hope you stay interested in that setting!

there's this scene from Casablanca that reminds me of another hero who has become jaded and cynical:

ILSA For the last time, put that cash stash to work.

SHIKAGO If the NBBA and the cause mean so much to you, you won't stop at anything. All right, I'll make it easier for you. . . Go ahead and shoot. You'll be doing me a favor.

ILSA Shikago, I tried to stay away. I thought I would never see you again, that you were out of my league. . . The day you left, if you knew what I went through! If you knew how much I loved you, how much I still love you!

What is your highest exp player? Do you mind listing him at an extreme high price just to see?

http://www.buzzerbeater.com/player/6626507/overview.aspx

I'm planning on buying this guy just to get him to 20 EXP by playing him in cup games and easy league games. Being that he still has decent skills, he won't be a liability for what...2 more seasons at 39?

I don't have a trainer with career extension anymore...but kinda wondered how much regression I should see from a 39 year old.

There was a 20 exp guy who sold for almost nothing recently. Not as good as that guy though. Oh & does this mean you no longer want to buy Isaac Ansa? (don't think I didn't see that bid!)

It's kind of luck how long Fred Fountain will be useful. And what skills will drop. My 39 year old only had 4 drops last season. (though he really got hammered a few seasons earlier). And a 41 year old... only 3. OTOH, my Utopia defensive specialist lost a lot of skills. (luckily everything but OD)

Not sure how much career extension helps. All I remember is my key SF having like 7 skill drops in 5 weeks after getting one. And my first ever 33 year old drop with one.

LOL. I still have the highest bid on Ansa. But I doubt I want him.

I really want Fred Fountain just to get him 20 EXP. He will actually serve a purpose too as my 10th player. I wanted him last season as well but all the Utopian teams bid him up.

Personally I don't mind how much his skills drop. I just figured the more the better because I want to keep him on my team long-term and don't want his salary to effect my team much.

When he does reach 20 EXP I will list him to show off If I can get him anyway. I figure depending on his sub-level I can get him to 20 EXP in 5 seasons.
