that doesnt make sense from the fans stand point :)

if you try your hardest 4th will still be better then 5th , and get you better attendance that season n the following one.

well obviously if the difference between 4th and 5th was 5 games
then it would be better to come 4th since u got way more wins meaning way more arena revenue
but if its only a 1 game difference, wouldn't u tank a few games to try to come 5th? lol

next season is next season =P right now we are talking about this seasons PO run.

how i understood it , the diference in finishing fourth - compared to finishing 5th in the next seasons effect on attendance is more then what you will save by coming 5th

haha...talking about bottlenecks. Look at II.2

As usual we get the annual ABBL deliberate tanker that wants to train a player out of position which will then surge back from D2. Its been now 3 seasons in a row we got a tanker causing a huge bottleneck for genuine D2 teams trying to make ABBL.

2.2 no doubt has some brutal teams but seriously have a look at 2.1 and tell me who the bad team is on my side of the draw?

yoda i will trade all my draft picks, EVER, for that guy!

is it just me or is d2 getting tougher

2.1 and 2.2 both have so many strong teams it makes me sick

maybe 2.3 and 2.4 are full of all the chumps...

2.3 at least didnt get an abbl

show ponies, vicmages, gold nuggets, beernuts and all-sorts all look good but beatable (mages are from my old league and have some super players!)

we got snuffles, fat boy, pwnage and maggots who are all good, not sure about marmots - maybe he can tell us, he is here somewhere...

i guess lara would be worse

2.1 is great competition between genuine Div 2 teams. All great teams and anybody can take it out.

Div 2.2 had and still has teams that tanked to be in Div 2. I'm talking about teams that are here to do training. They go back any time they want. These teams make -100k every week for the season thanks to their stashed up ABBL money. There is no way a genuine D2 team can keep up with them as we simply do not have the funds to make losses every week. E.g we had WA, Crushers and now Giants all making losses in our league :)

This has caused a huge bottleneck of genuine D2 teams trying to promote but can't simply because we can not have the means or the ability to make negative cash. No disrespect to Koops, whitebeard, VCut that are rightly ABBL teams now, but if they were in D2.2, they would not have been able to promote. :)

What my argument is is that its not about "good teams" that are around the same level which is great enjoyment. But more about the fact that we have good teams from ABBL tanking to Div 2, making losses every week which the genuine D2 teams just can't compete with

This is why I'm very fortunate to be able to be in the ABBL.
If you asked me at the beginning of season 14 if I was able to be in the ABBL, I'll tell you to go to hell =P

I don't know which is harder, trying to beat the 16 teams in div2 or trying to stay up in ABBL, we'll now soon enough.

This season can be a bit stressful but I like it, I am actually looking forward to my first game. I gotta start planning seriously and no TIE..


ps. just checked schedule, maggot up first then cowboy from hell... nice...
