Yeah, I have very little patience for managers who think the Buzzerbeater gods forsake them and them alone. I promise not to be that kind of opponent!

This is sort of a transition year for my squad after I sold some expensive forwards. I like my base of guards (including the likely MVP front-runner Motiejus Dumbrauskas), but every game is a battle. I thought I'd be able to fight hard enough to stay at .500 in the division up, but it was a rude awakening. So I'm back here and happy to see some other really solid teams just a player or two away from the BIG TIME.

Looks like Sir Chewbacca has a similar build to my team, with one dominant guard (Gaétan Théry) and a supporting cast of roleplayers. I'm curious to see how the next game goes, and if I can Home Court Advantage to vault into second place. Good luck to all!

Welcome all, yes I saw those big transactions from your team...big numbers. I've been on BB since season 6, and I can never be patient enough to save up that much cash, I'm a constant fiddler.

Yeah it's tough to have that patience, and I think sometimes it actually negatively impacts my progress to not be MORE aggressive, but I have around 5.8 million saved up right now. Been tough to balance the budget with the trips between divisions the past few seasons. But I'm pretty much shedding salary for anyone over age 29 as I try to build another strong core that can defend anyone, at least break even on the boards, and keep the passing active.

We'll see if the crew I invested in currently will do that. At least I have that one scorer who can take the game over, because the rest of my squad haven't proven they can score efficiently yet. Time will tell!

Your team scares me because you spread the ball around and it's tough to know where to focus my defensive efforts. Schumacher's shooting stats are down from one bad game, but I think it's awesome you have a homegrown PF there.

Hey guys. Great to see the posts. Always interesting to see what everyone thinking out there.

This is my 5th season on this league and I have to say there are some very good teams. My first couple years were just an attempt to stay above water and stay in the league. The last few I've been lucky enough to make the playoffs and I'm hoping that this year maybe make a little push.

Not having a good night tonight though! No time to panic.

Really looking forward to the challenge and looking forward to hear what everyone is thinking.

Good luck to all as we get further into the season.

Best Player = Broken Nose = Game Shape Chaos = Bad Start

My team is out of whack! We need the all star game to come already, so I can reset...

Whats that cheat code? Up up, down down, left right, left right, B, A, B, A select select start?

You talk about injuries. My best player has been hurt the last 2 weeks and of course we were playing the top two teams in the division. Horrible timing. To make matters worse out starting PG got hurt 3 minutes into game last night.

I'm with you, need the AS break to get guys healthy, but if you come up with that cheat code we would love to get it too!

Ugg...those injuries have to be frustrating...worst part of the game. I empathize.

Glad to see some activity here. I haven't seen much talk in any league since my first IV league. Been around since season 15 or so, which was a really long time ago now. I had to sell the two big men I've been riding for 5-10 seasons, so definitely in a rebuild and just hoping to be able to stick in III. Last 2-3 seasons I was right on the border of profitable vs. losing money, but now I'm definitely in the build up the cash reserves part of a franchise.

Hi guys, hello everybody. I might be the least experienced here, that's my 4th season. After 2 seasons in this league of hanging around 0.500, with no chances of fighting for anything, this year I decided to give it a try, just to see how far I can go with this team. That will probably sacrifice some of my long term goals, but you got to have some fun playing this game. After all, that's why we're all here. There are a lot of strong teams this season, so good luck to all!

Your team is VERY tough to face, and both of our games have been intense grudge matches. Best of luck to you the rest of the season - I'm hoping that I can sharpen my lineups before the playoffs and be ready to face off again.
