I will be coordinating with Coach Morwood on the players he had handled in the U21 squad in his two years as managers. We will start from there. Try to see if the managers of those players will be receptive in trying to convince them to train their players more. He should know which are the ones that are easy to talk with.

But my main goal is for lower league managers to start training players for their own team and for u21/NT and help them go up the leagues in order for them to be able to afford their high salaried players. Looking at the current NT lineup which former NT manager Master Cezzz has left me, a considerable number of players are players who I have handled during my stint in the U21 scene. Most of those player are still with their respective managers since their U21 days. We need more of those kinds of managers. The ones that will have an emotional attachment to their players so we can keep those players here in the Philippines and train them to be NT material. I think that is step one.

Problem now is if we have an abundance of NT potential players with high salaries and we cannot accommodate them all. Well we will cross the bridge when we get there as for now its train more and better NT players as of the moment.

Let me share the stats of a current NT player when he was aged 21 so people can have a barometer what it takes to have a NT player. This is Dispo at age 21 at the beginning of the season. Dispo is an all around SF even if he is listed as PF right now.

I hope we can train another all around SF in the near future. Dispo isn't getting any younger. We need to train the next Dispo as soon as possible.

In case people haven't seen this training just got a lot more interesting. Now PPL can train players also without sacrificing their games!

Welcome to season 29: The training tune-up season! (Part 1)

Training has always been a fundamental part of BuzzerBeater; it is an aspect of the game which provides a lot of joy, and sometimes even some frustration. This is, of course, due to our long standing training system which limits training to a very narrow set of positions. Not anymore. Out of position training is a thing of the past. Welcome to the new training era! For example, from now on, you can train your Center in passing or outside defense while playing him in his most effective position. However, these new options come with a cost: a loss in training effectiveness of 10% is applied should you choose to use these new positions. The effectiveness is further reduced by 10% for each “step” away from the existing, old training position. Oh yeah, these “old” training types are, of course, still available and are just as effective as they were before. The combinations just expand the position range of existing training types.
