Hello All.
My name's Greg. I've been managing my team since season 6, avoiding relegation from division 3.10 in my first season. My teams never been below div 3 and is entering it's fifth, but not consecutive, season in div 2. I am passionate about winning so I always aim to win any match my team plays sometimes I know it's not possible going into the match but I'll always try to win as that is the best thing to do in the spirit of competition.
I have learned a lot from a few players over the seasons, made some mistakes like everyone, and have recently been offering some advice to a couple of teams that have asked.
I usually haven't been that active on the forums, I do read a lot of them, but only comment when I have something interesting or useful to say. I would naturally increase my forum activity as I would want everyone to be able to follow and understand what's happening with our National Team as that is what it is OUR National Team.
I love training young players and seeing them develop so I, as national coach, would encourage everyone to develop young talent and work with the u21 coach to encourage the developing talent on that team to be trained further to make the national team. This should be every coach's goal to have a player on the national team, especially one they've trained from scratch.
I would strive as national coach to learn everything possible from Whitebeard about coaching our National Team, what direction he sees it going in, what talent is developing, the strengths of each player on the team. I would combine this with my own experience to shape our National Team.
I believe I have a lot of experience to offer this role and I now have time to invest in this role, that is why I have not run before. I do expect I will need a good group of assistants and I hope some of the existing team would stay on to support our National Team and myself as I learn this new role. Please feel free to ask me any questions in the debate thread and I will respond as quick as I can.
