Hmmm based on my calculation if I build 2000 more lower seats the income will increase only by 32.250 per week...the investment will be 1.4 million. So it will take approx. 4 seasons until I am on par (if my team doesn't get downgraded or so...). I dunno if that is a good idea...

16.000x20+2.500x60=470.000 vs. 15.000x20+4.500x45=502.500

Thanks a lot for the link!

I think the conclusion of this threat is a little bit different……according to what they said is that the investment in the arena is not as important as the investment in the roster. Thus, I can have a very well balanced arena (more lower tier) as long as my team plays bad I will never achieve such a high income. So it is more effective to invest your money in your roster and try to achieve as much rewards as possible.

Of course you can make a little bit more money (650K vs. 620K) if you have a well balanced arena and your team plays good, but if you have to decided which comes first…..always invest in the roster.

build lower tiers if you want to stay in this game for a long time(and promote to higher leagues,of course).if you as me then your final arena should look like-15500,6000,500,50 with the ticket prices of 18,30,170,950
of course i agree with you that investment in roster is more important than having a big arena(the best example is the present situation of AC Milan) so what you should do is to improve your arena everytime you almost fill your arena out.that would give you enough cash to invest on your roster and on your arena as well.

As can be read from the other topic, it's important to make your investments balanced. It makes no sense to expand your arena if you aren't selling the extra seats, or you need to lower your prices too low for your investment to pay back. I usually calculate how long it takes for each type of seats to pay back assuming I set the prices optimally.
