Hi Mortons:

Time to rise to this challenge,

That's the right spirit! It is always hard when you first promote but the challenge of it is the whole point of playing, right?

Try to stay around and save up - the tv revenue here is worth it, even if you end up in the 5th-7th seed every season.

Besides, you will miss Ardain's recaps, and wait till you see Chaos Lords' statistical breakdown of your team (assuming he/she is not too busy).

Some good news for you: I personally think the league used to be even tougher - we had 3 uber-strong teams promote out over the last 2 seasons.

Good luck.

Don't make a Pimp come over there and slap your sorry ass....wait, keep sucking your thumb until after KSP plays you, we need all the help we can get too.

I'm in the same boat as you but I am enjoying the new challenge of trying to figure how the hell to keep from demoting and how the %#^~ to stop turning over the ball so damn much!

Morton: Funny post! I also believe that your current team is good enough to stay in the league. I had a rough go last season early on so a recovery can be made successfully.

As for the statistical breakdown, I'll get to it...maybe even today. I'm still looking for a better automated way to gather the data more quickly. Until then cut and paste...ugh!

Significant recent roster moves:
I added a scoring guard in Brier

Biggest move is still Rocket Science in picking up the Finnish Finisher Mäentalo. He had an incredible effort in the double-OT thriller win over GS Warriors with 33 pts and 20 rebounds.
DFC picked up a nice C and a combo SG/SF trainee with the great name of Valter Valter.
Pimps picked up a nice older PG to shore up the back court and new scorer at PF.
Rojos invested in Chilean U-21 star Schmidt - known for his hard fouling ways.
Oops forgot about the Fouling Finn - Antti Pirttimäki - another solid pickup by the Thunderclan

Result summaries
Speaking of fouls - that is a great intro to my game against the Rojos. After losing at halftime, my team came back to win by a large margin. Played at a higher enthusiasm level, it took until after halftime for my team to exploit the hole created by an early injury at SG. The parade of the Rojo center giants marching through that spot was entertaining.
The Pimps vs. MCM blowout was a bit of a surprise, given that MCM had a bot in the Cup.
Red Fort showed a nicely balanced attack and defense against East. The team flowed well against the winless side.
The battle of the Clans went the way of the MacLeod's as Brad Granger showed his form. Granger also delivered in the Cup game facing down former U-21 Zane Ritter and the Slashing Dragons.

Great 8
The game of the week was clearly Rocket Science's win over GS. Rocket somehow managed to keep the big guy on the court with 5 fouls as the other key starters fouled out. Tough end for GS and Rocket stays in the #1 spot for the league.
Star Fliers continued to struggle, but not surprising against the Wee Swee powered Gingers. At some point Trickle will have a breakout game, just hope it isn't against the Thumpers.
Astral continues to rack up the wins - although both teams had hard luck in their Cup games.
Chaos Lords had a solid home win over DFC in a TV game, putting up overall great defensive ratings.

Key matchups tonight - Pimps vs. Red for Big 8, Rocket vs. DFC for Great 8.

Perhaps a new logo for Thunderclan Warriors new persona. I am guessing you will be getting a letter from the lawyers at Disney considering your name change.
