Cause we're Murican and don't like authority telling us what to do. Is there a King or Queen of the NBBA (ignoring half of your name...which refers to MLK). Nope. So it's all "whateva I do what I want" in your best Eric Cartman voice.

Actually I think we might be a couple seasons off from "being able" to do something like that. It's been the same teams in NBBA for awhile now give or take, and lots of managers are starting to recognize the advantages of collusion... I always wanted to pull these sorts of shenanigans but most of my original 'cabal' got bored and quit before making it.

You can deal with one or two miscreants with TL rentals or CTs, so if you have 12+ 'reliable' participants the rest could either be pressured into compliance or punished as they field a $750k roster but get CT'd every game

Well, I didn't get the impression that the GE changes would *kill* LI. At least this is what I hope: that they bring the other tactics to a balanced level.

You assume that they have any clue how minor or significant the consequences of the change will be, how it will scale across the d1-d5 talent range, and how it will behave once people start changing their rosters in response to it.
