lol well your system seems to be stuck in a loop then because you've been going around in useless circles all argument I got dizzy last night and had to go to bed... As for AI i think my Toaster understands basketball better

I think the main thing that you're not grasping is the basketball side of things. In a standard game on BB, most teams have somewhere around 80-90 shots each so shot attempts are finite. The game i've linked was a blowout so it's a little outside of those numbers but even in a blowout with lots of turnovers, it's not that far off the 80-90 mark.

Now look at my team. Gary Howorth shot 4-19 from the field. Is that good because he scored 8 points or is it bad because he was clearly the worst shooter on the team and the shot attempts would have been better going to someone like Grgur Fatur who was 9-11 on the night and would have almost certainly made more buckets with the extra attempts that Howorth took away?

But you are comparing that on an offensive basis. I am talking about from the defensive aspect.
If Gary Howorth had shot 0-8 and Grgur Fatur had shot 1-17, then which is better offensively?
I think the 1-17 is better than the 0-8 offensively, and consequently the person defending the 1-17 did a worse job than the person defending the 0-8 in my opinion.
