Well the news is in...

What a fantastic game between yuck/clogs. Too bad the ending was sort of melodramatic. It turned out the Yuck had a superior inside attack and I was once again wrong in my predictions.

Well done Yuck making the finals! Congrats to GS as well! Sorry Clogs but as they say, there is always next season...and utopia.

GL to smallfries, nome white owls, tictac and clerics in Div III. May you all get good draft picks to help you out next season.

Now to see who will make it to the NBBA!

The early indication would point to the Yuck's as having the better team and they are playing 2 of 3 at home. However, GS has two stout interior players to deal with.

Well, they have to play the games, but as much respect as I have for what Redemption's accomplished, Yuck's got the superior team right now, plus HCA. I'm just glad I got beat cleanly enough that there's no doubt that me missing Namo didn't matter to cast a shadow over what Yuck accomplished. It was an expensive season of experimentation and teambuilding but when it came down to winning time, Yuck had found the right pieces to the puzzle while I was done in yet again with a player who I've known for a while isn't getting the job done but didn't replace.

Congrats to Yuck! You seem to be great at causing upsets in the playoffs ;)

Wow, another season of churn for the Big 8. It's quite possible that the Great 8 will only see one team leave them this season.

Thanks fellas. Thanks Hrudey for being a stud. It was an expensive season. Didn't really think about chasing this until around the all star break when pieces and tactics started clicking. Still a little shocked I won in Hrudey's house of horrors. The whole game was tight and I kept waiting for him to open up a double digit lead. Great game plan on Skilas. Tough road ahead. 2 of 3 is a grind.

@ redemption - good luck bro and may we remain injury free for a couple weeks.

Belated congratulations to both Yuck and hrudey on fine seasons. For me, looking at this game beforehand, it was a win-win as both these fine managers are BB buddies of mine. And hrudey, your'e right: sometimes it's better to lose by a few points than by one or two at the buzzer. But it is still not easy—and both of you have been very gracious. Good luck to all the clubs in II.4 which still remains as BB's "Group of Death:-)"

No love for "distinguished others?" How anthropocentric.

Your center was good at rebounding the basketball last night. 14 offensive rebounds!

Just saw that the SF Warriors won despite a fan playing 34 minutes. And they got GDP guessed on top of it. It was still pretty foolish to not at least have a $5k backup. But they really lucked out.

Player of the game: Lucky Fan. 3-5 shooting & an assist vs. an $83k center. He even made intelligent fouls to finish the game.

As far as predictions go: You'll never top picking the winning team, but being off by over 130 points! I don't think that's ever happened before. (by someone who knows what basketball is)
