This one is a bit irksome to me. Any thoughts? It was a three GDP swing (two wrong guesses for them, one correct guess for us). It feels like we had the better team, lineup and tactic layout, but it still resulted in a loss.

I missed this post earlier, so my apologies.

My simple observation is that if you are going to run an isolation offense, you don't want the guy being given the ball in isolation to have a career 3:145 assist:turnover ratio.

I know nothing on a NT level but you seem to have brought up these sf/sg skills and motion.

My thought is . They had the right balanced team to play motion pin point excellent from my seeing, also you used Gdp. Please understand there is a penalty if you get it wrong and it huge one when we add the margin of error in your own team playing the tactic with the skills.. The more balance team will win.

I assume that your penalty in balance and getting gdp wrong ate up any edge in more effort. It became a skillful game of tactical input, Their sg/sf ate you alive because motion does equal coming off screen to shoot the ball and if the skill is correct the sf /sg will create his own shot as well it will be murder show.

I do see your defense working but they chipped away with the mis-matches created off the screens.. Some looked like they set higher screens to create baskets and some looked they were just wide open. I dont think it should have been 23 points route. But I do think you still would have lost given the margin of error you made wth gdp and how their player are more balanced skillful for motion. I think they really exploited your defensive edge with the passing.. Its was a beautiful game to watch.

I think you shouldn't have played Gdp. I think should have taken the gamble of straight up playing them. But take this with a grain of salt. Nt games are whole new world in which I know nothing about. Better luck next time. I guess.

You admitted that you don't know what you are talking about but still delivered us a wall of text.

no I didnt make a wall of text. I comment on motion and the sf play in which the op directly ask for.as far his Nt team history an planning etc. I don't know about those thing..

Out of respect for him being as a nt person I commented on motion not to disrespect his Nt acumen or him. Because I have never been NT coach nor do I know his playing style I don't follow nt much if at all . So know nothing of NT..
