Pretty bold strategy, I've always found shopping for the "right" players to be pretty problematic. As is the way that things seem to work, whenever I don't need a player they go for what you'd expect, but when I do need a player there's a huge bidding war.

I think your strong finish may put Boudreaux in the conversation for MVP, although I doubt he'll win.

Ferland, and one of the top three Silverbacks (Dennison, Polt and Olivais) look like the main alternatives.

Given the way voting works (about half of the guy love wins above all, the other half love the mainstream stats), I think a Silverback player will win (they should dominate the "wins" voters, and do ok with the stats voters.

I was wondering if Alton Johnson make take it....

...I'm not sure why Ferland would take it?? 16.1 ppg, 12.2 rpg on a 10-12 team?

Funky Town Fire and Pennsylvania Quakers are having a nice clean game. 13 fouls in the 1st quarter.

Your game is so dirty. 13 fouls in the 1st quarter, 10 in the 2nd. And your team has committed two flagrant fouls, one of which injured a Quaker. They're pacifists man!

Eek, that doesn't sound good at all. In fact, it's far too close for my liking, I usually capitulate in the 4th so not looking forward to that.

I'll demote with a salary that is about 20k less than what I promoted with, but with a higher paid starting five than what won it all last season. Add to that the experience up here, and a little bit of extra cash to spend - I like my chances of showing up here again.

mostly joking, though theres a couple teams in II.4 battling for promotion with 700k+ payrolls.
