How do you know he was amazing? Do you know his skills?
No I don't, it is merely an assumption that a young drafted MVP with a $5,000 starting salary seems like something most young teams would die for.
Gastone was total ass.
Not surprising, but I still wish I had kept at least one more of my initial bad players and trained them.
Basically your advice to new players is to spend all your money on gun trainees. I think plenty of people might disagree with you
I said, "This is where I will probably disagree with everyone else".
Those type of trainees can be purchased after the new player is financially stable, has a good grasp of the tactics and has a plan in place regarding which skills they want to train
You are welcome to your opinion that new players should spend a season or two training bad players and then later get good ones to train but I will respectfully disagree. You can do what you want but the most important thing I think a new team can do is get at least one guy who will be a star for their team one day.
Shanmag I don't know why you are having a go at me.
lol so its your opinion/your way and everything else is wrong...?
I clearly said it was just my opinion and everyone else would disagree with me. There are infinite ways to go about this game. Look at Naker! Obviously I think training young high potential guys with a great base is the way to go. I don't mind if others disagree. It is only my opinion, not a fact and I can't prove it.
