That is exactly the type mentality you need to be successful at BB. You have a bright future ahead of you =P

Wrong!

dude you get rid of a 5k mvp that your team drafted so instead you can train a foreign 4k star potential guy (although your explination is he had all atrocious skills to make up that 5k salary)

you are in a league full of bots that you could win with your eyes closed, and are paying guys 20k a week?

you just bought a 21 yo superstar who you proudly say you arent going to train and anyone who says you should is stupid

then you tell everyone like splitj, iwen or yoda who try to help you after you asked for advice that they are wrong

nice days work

and dont worry since you obviously know tons more than anyone else here after your mighty way less than 2 seasons i wont even bother trying to give you any advice

I see the arrow but he's falling behind..

It must be just me but my trainees pop like nutters.

Really need him to be your focus.

I've always been a trainer and have made handsome profits training my players and selling the extra trainees. My first couple of seasons worth of money were spent on trainees and my arena. When I promoted I sold off trainees to fund other positions.

I don't agree with the notion of buying old players to help you promote, but then again, whatever works for you and makes you enjoy the game.

For me, it's watching my young guns destroy everybody and get called up for the NT.

I'm not suggesting any changes. I just forgot his initial starting skills. All good.

I look forward to seeing him develop!

How do you know he was amazing? Do you know his skills?

No I don't, it is merely an assumption that a young drafted MVP with a $5,000 starting salary seems like something most young teams would die for.

Gastone was total ass.

Not surprising, but I still wish I had kept at least one more of my initial bad players and trained them.

Basically your advice to new players is to spend all your money on gun trainees. I think plenty of people might disagree with you

I said, "This is where I will probably disagree with everyone else".

Those type of trainees can be purchased after the new player is financially stable, has a good grasp of the tactics and has a plan in place regarding which skills they want to train

You are welcome to your opinion that new players should spend a season or two training bad players and then later get good ones to train but I will respectfully disagree. You can do what you want but the most important thing I think a new team can do is get at least one guy who will be a star for their team one day.

Shanmag I don't know why you are having a go at me.

lol so its your opinion/your way and everything else is wrong...?

I clearly said it was just my opinion and everyone else would disagree with me. There are infinite ways to go about this game. Look at Naker! Obviously I think training young high potential guys with a great base is the way to go. I don't mind if others disagree. It is only my opinion, not a fact and I can't prove it.
