I'll set up a BB Barclay's premiership fantasy epl league soon and will post the codes here for anyone to join. For serious people only, soccer I mean football is serious business you know.

I'm always serious with my football!! (and I refuse to call it soccer) :p

Carrying a ball with your hands is not foot-ball.

hahaha that is so true, I guess it's an American thing because they still refer to Gridiron (National Football League) as Football and Football Soccer (Major League Soccer)... confusing...

Yeah..why call it football when you carry the ball with your hands??

Football - implies that you use your foot i.e no hands.

Might as well call it handball with a few kicks thrown in!

Of the other games referred to as "football", only AFL, to me, can qualify, because the majority of disposal is done by foot. Rugby/gridiron, kicking the ball is rare (i.e. in gridiron there's ONE guy whose job it is to kick the ball!).

yeh good point! AFL is pretty much the only sports here that can really be classified as Football, League and Union use their hands much more than their feet.

I don't know about soccer players, cos I don't think they'd stand a chance in Gridiron hahah. THey have hired AFL players though to Punt the ball in the NFL.
