true about Nate Robinson - although in terms of inside D, I vaguely remember that he once blocked a dunk attempt by Yao Ming.... for athletic types, sometimes defense is about timing and desire,as their athleticism can compensate for their height. For regular and below average folks like me who cannot jump high enough, height matters more. In my mind, the blocking attribute in BB somewhat simulates this aspect.

On the topic matter, I wish I had sold all my players 3 seasons ago at the height of the bubble and sat on a pile of cash to buy players this season. I have become too attached to my players, and will suffer for it in about 2 seasons time.

Because I never was able to land an outstanding draft pick (though not for the lack of investing), I wish I had ignored training completely and instead just focused on stamina and FT.

So what would be the point of having skills then? Just put 5 guys with 7'1 in the court with atrocious rebounding, but due to their height they would win a massive number of rebounds and block a lot of shots.

I wish I knew not to spend my $300,000 start money on an overrated 21 year old who pretty much reached his prime

I wish I knew that training an All-Star would be a waste of time and this potential would never ever be enough to get a NT-caliber player... All those seasons for nothing... :-/

Kevin Durant is a beast, BECAUSE he's taller than his match ups and he can shoot over them any time he wants. That's exactly what I'm talking about!
MJ is great thanks to his height, I'm not sure if you're agreeing or disagreeing with me.
..and you can forget training up a player like them on BB. Even if you somehow manage to get in the vicinity, what would be the point? They wouldn't be better than 5'9 guard you can train to the same level in less than half the time.
I don't know who Ben Wallace is..
kidding, I love Big Ben but once players pass 6'8 they don't really gain in athleticism. So an advantage wouldn't be as clear if any..
But, c'mon, are you really saying than a 6'7 player with the exactly same skill level wouldn't beat up a 6'0 guy so badly, there wouldn't be any reason to go to any other match up in a game?

I wish i knew how to spend my money the right way
I wish i would've expanded my arena earlier
I wish i had better trainees in my first season
I wish i'd never bought an expensive pr manager (Which i fired because i was in debt part of my first season)
I wish i had scouted more in my first two seasons

It is rare to see the tallest man win the rebounding crown. Skill is just as important as height in rebounding. I could rattle off a long list of some of the greatest rebounders, and only a few are over 7'. Also this is a game about basketball, not a simulation of actual basketball. If it was as you say there would be no reason to train rebounding, and teams would just get the biggest guy they could find who never played basketball. Have you ever played basketball? It's not just stand under the rim and block and rebound by far. In his game if you buy the 7 footer and train rebounding, and i buy the 6 footer and train rebounding, your guy will be considerably better than mine in rebounding fast. That is where height comes into it in this game.

I wish I had known how important Game Shape and Enthusiasm were my first couple of seasons. I sorta knew, but not really.

the point is that the same skill level in this game means that they are equally good - they are grabbing the same number of rebounds in the same rebounding situations. However, it also means it is much easier for the giant to improve, while the dwarf might never climb higher than his initial respectable Rebounding...
