Still no sign of a Latino speech?

Ok, I will put up a speech later this morning, wa time,when I get on my computer, I only decided to join the race yesterday after considerable thought.

I totally agree with this. Whitebeard has done an excellent job and he is an excellent manager certainly someone I would like to learn from and replicate the success of. I personally would want to have a good team of assistants around me and should I not win I would like to be an assistant to the winner. I to enjoy scouting my opposition so I can try to exploit weaknesses.

Done now. Was a long day yesterday and I knew I had forgotten something.

I want to ask all the candidates this very important question since it will not only affect the national team but also our own teams.

The BBs have stated that there will be a GE change coming. How will you go about preparing for these changes to get one step ahead of our rival nations?

Well according to the BBs they are making look inside less powerful on the sliders which i also take as they will slightly increase 2-3 zone as a defense but at national level really M2M is the only defense unless your playing like macua or a newer nation.

I think this would mean that you could take advantage of not being so predictable tactics wise. As many big nation have started to just use LI and M2M. With tactics being even out i think youll see alot more things like PtB and Motion, LP and maybe even RnG used a fair bit more if nations have players suitable to that.

For nearly all my seasons in this game which if you add up season 6 to 12 and now season 15 to 23 ive played outside tactics and created teams to play these tactics and now what is required to pull them off, having had success with them. Though i do know how to implement inside tactics using them when they are required.

With SB also looking to become more effective i can see the dominance of Mono skilled big men start to decline and being stoppable with high defense and shotblocking. Which means teams that have more balanced big men will be better off.

In the Asian champions rounds against the weaker teams would be the time to try out some unusual tactics that may become more succesful with game engine changes

That will be the real key. It will be interesting to see and get feedback from local managers on any noticed difference once this season gets underway. Will it be LI weaker or Def beefed up to slow it down. Either way it will be a good thing for the game. Strategies used should play a bigger role on the outcome of games. To really have a strong idea of what is going on I would like to get a group of coaches to try different plans and discuss how they worked different to last season.
Otherwise it would be needed to try things with the NT side but it would be better in my eyes to have a good idea of the outcome when competitive NT games kick off.

With the suggested changes the team IMO will need players with different builds suited to different plans if possible. If in fact LI is weakened and big players need less ID to stop inside plays then I would look to have the younger bunch of players and next bunch look to add more OD at the expense of some IS and/or ID. But this would be a more long term plan to address the changes. It would be most likely to lower IS to add more OD in order to stop it.

But the main thing until we see some games and can access how much it has been scaled back one can not be sure of the best way in addressing this. There is the PL for the top sides in the world and it would be great if an Australian coach who is able to be in that can try some different things and report back to the NT coach about with strong sides of similar skills are effected by the changes.

Hopefully they do not scale it back so far that it becomes a useless way to play but just more equal with other ways of playing the game.

In the end like all things NT it would need input form the Australian community in order for the team and our nation to be able to gain any advantage we can find. When we take on nations with more teams and far more players we need some tricks up our sleeves to have any chance of an upset. In fact we need some tricks vs the stronger teams we face in the Asian Championship.

I am keen to see if there are any changes even in the Scrims tonight. If you notice something Whitebeard or any other coach tonight can you please let me know. Regardless of been the NT coach or not I am keen to see how the changes effect the game asap.

According to the BB's the changes won't take place till after Allstar break

I had forgotten that bit. The same process will need to be followed as best that can be at that stage. Without seeing the changes in place any attempt to address it would be a guess. It may be a slight or a major change in how the game is played and without research and trial and error it will be hard to be sure. By gaining info from as many places as possible can shorten the time needed to access the need for nay changes.

A short answer to this as I am on my phone. Firstly this would mean expanding our Aussie team to include more balanced big men and some experimentation in games using more inside skilled big men with li tactic and trying different tactics with more balanced big men. The aim being to try and determine the impact of the change and if li is still a useable tactic against some teams. Further to this scouting opponents will be more important to see what they are doing and what tactics they are using and finding holes we may be able to exploit.
The under 21 team will have a role here in guiding coaches training future stars getting these big men more rounded in their skills. Once they are beyond u21 but not on national team manager would need to be encouraged to develop their outside skills. These 22 - 25 year olds now could have there outside skills focused on now so that they are more rounded in a few seasons when they hit our team.

Input from all managers on this change would help as we could understand more quickly how effective or not li will be. So managers with more inside focused big men that play li could use this tactic and provide feedback as to how effective it still is. I know I am in this boat but am developing guards atm.
