Doesn't training occur at the same hour?

No, in Greece it happens at 6:10 Boston Time while in Australia it happens at 3:30 Boston Time.

I live in Macau and convinced my roommate to play this game. His training usually happens a full two hours ahead of mine.

I don't know if the server does all the training at the same time and the updates just don't get to us all at once? or if there is a window where a player could be trained with one team and then sold to another before the training update occurs?

If the second option is the case, then it seems plausible that a player could receive double training in a week...

They do. However the question is whether it is zeroed for that player or for that team.

Let me put it another way:
Lets say my training update occurs before yours.
You have a player for sale that has played 48 minutes at Center this past week.
But I buy this player from you after my training update has occured BUT before your training update has occured.
Will this player then still have 48 minutes because he has not taken part in any training updates by any team and so his minutes will not be on zero?

Considering gameshape updates at the same time as training does this mean that this player will not receive gameshape change?

Then you get zero training:D Because you miss both trainings... It will show 48 minutes and will get cleared when the next game starts.
Now if I would buy a player from you after you have completed your training, it will show 0 for minutes played this week. Someone could ofcourse test this theory, but I am pretty sure BB-s have thought about people trying to abuse this loophole, that's why they zero the minutes after training.

You said they zero the minutes after training. But if a player is sold from you to me before your training and after my training then the player's minutes will not go to zero right?
I agree that you would get no training, what I am saying is that you would also get no gameshape change.
And because the minutes do not go to zero, all games that are played during the following week would add on to the current 48 minutes. So if you played 48 minutes the coming week you would then have played 96 minutes at the gameshape update the following friday.

Make sense?

You said that because I miss both trainings, it will show 48 and get cleared when the next game starts. Why do you think that the next game erases the minutes?

A player can pop in multiple skills obviously. But the same skill cannot have 2 pops in 1 week. If this were possible it would mean that the skill trained received an increase of 1.0 minimum. This would mean that you would experience a pop every week if you trained that skill. But no skill does this. Therefore, no individual skill can pop twice in the same week :)

That's not exactly correct. I once had two separate players pop three times in a row during the same three week period. And I wasn't even doing single position training. I was training rebounding.

That is possible.
For example consider this:
Initial skill of rebounding starts at 7.99
Then lets say that you get 0.7 skill increase for rebounding due to trainer level and height of player and age of player.
After 1 week you would get a pop and you would be at 8.69 skill level for rebounding.
After another week you would get a pop and you would be at 9.39 skill level for rebounding.
After another week you would get a pop and you would be at 10.09 skill level for rebounding.

So I showed you that you can get 1 pop in the same skill over 3 consecutive weeks.
However, if the skill amount received was 1.0 you would receive a pop every single week forever.
This is not true for any skill.

I am willing to bet that on your fourth week of rebounding training you did not get a pop, and most certainly not on your fifth if you did manage to get one on your fourth.
