From the sounds of it, the main thing that the council needs to decide is whether they want to have four teams competing against each other (which would require each conference to have members from all four teams) OR to have two parallel leagues (Kevin V Guppies in conference 1 and IV.7 V XBB in conference 2).

If people are really against having a "Div 1" and "Div 2", then decide which teams go into which conference by lottery and have three random choices from each team in each conference.

Having said that...I think everyone just wants to take part and play, and is happy to leave it to the council.

We await the council's decision as we await the draft and salary updates...hoping for what we each individually want but prepared to play with what we get!

+1 for the teams competing in different "leagues" concept.

lol seems like everyone is jumping on the div1 and div2 bandwagon...

it also has my thumbs up since the better teams will be pegged against each other while the lesser salaried teams will battle it out against each other... that seems like the logical thing to do.

if this does get rolled out, how will the teams determine who will be in the top div and lower div? by strength or just chosen strategically? e.g since C-cat is gonna own in the upper division with 13-0, xbb will put Koops in the lower division to get his 13-0... LOL

if teams are chosen by strength it is similar to a relegation/promotion system but within a team, thus creating either healthy competition or friction within the team.. could create a butterfly effect which could implode the team from within.
