The last sentence is the whole issues in a nut shell.. people gien up the right training too go to another slot when you do that it don't help him become better. Because the game pops from other training manager will do speed trianing. Off training is not really needed for sf.

Its a habit of training players. Dedication is the key to dynamic players. we both know player don't need every thing to get better. A sf can do everything. Will speed training/off training help this. Of course...But it not really needed. the weakest link is Sf on BB and Sf is the strongest link on BB when you fully train it correctly .

It the only position that can really do every tactic.

Thus he has both decent guard skills and inside skills. Here is what I have ultimately decided to do with him (Age 28):
14 4
15 17
18 11
16 16
9 4

I have three separate SF that really aren't much different than this (combined, two of them are almost +20 beyond covering the bases other than 16 IS) and they're all bad. I have no good recommendations, though. Other than making him a PF. Which you should definitely do.

One of my guys is much higher JS, JR, HND, DRV (+13 with rounding) and shot 17% and 13% from 3 in previous seasons. Your guy could shoot in the negatives outside of 15 feet if you played him at SF.

Lower ID, higher REB if you absolutely insist on going the SF route.

I sent you a PM...I would like more data on these samples.
Just because someone shoots poorly from a certain range does not make him a poor player.

Also Guadalupe Álvarez would be considered a PF. But ideally I would like to put him in the 3 hole. I mean I don't think he would play as a PF because I am certain I could find more economically feasible players for that spot.

Getting the OD up to 15 would open the possibilities to him. That's the key to me. I can live with a guy who can't shoot from outside when he can absolutely crush on the interior from the 3 hole.

Actually I'm going for more of a defensive beast. I'm getting him probably up to 16 OD and 14 PAS and then I will move to JS and IS (Both up to 13) and finally touch up with more ID. Of course the plans are still slightly based around my inside oriented guard. I don't think I plan on getting his rebounding up that much if at all.

Some players are born better...and have ideal skill sets/height to train inside/out. Unfortunately Álvarez started with 3 SB / 3 JR. I have followed his skill set. He has regularly outperformed a similar player with one year more worth of training that has more balanced skills. He is 12/8/8/14/14/8/10/10/10/6.

Anyhow - I have another player close to capping that I would like to make more useful overall...
Here is my 24 year old 6'8" PAllstar...
12/8
8/11
13/9
13/13
10/8
If I can improve that guy's OD the next few seasons he can be a reliable backup SF/PF/C

So I have two players that in general could use improvement in OD. Granted its a slow/methodical transition at this point. But I'm not sure I want to try to go on a title run the next season or two anyway so I have the time.

But if I do decide to change plans and finish up inside, I could easily convert to center training. At that point though I am capping Dussán which I just don't know if I want to do yet.

So, I have this guy that i like to believe is a SF (honestly i screwed up his training in his early years, but i'm still proud of him as he's my own product), he's a HoF potential, but already 26 y/o.. here's his skills:

15 9
17 20
20 9
13 10
8 3

His SB is totally worthless (I was told SB was useless back in the day and didn't follow up with updates that made it (apparently) useful, so never trained it).

His OD is decent, but ID is low.. along with horrible SB. Is there any point to going into his inside skills or is he better off getting more outside training and i just settle with him being a guard? Or are there still some things i can do to have him as a "proper" SF?
