Just to be different

Shoei's is probably a sympathy vote, he dominated the ABBL title for a period like noone else, so he probably deserves at least 1 vote (and yes, I'm aware that means I'm the only person not to break the duck...)

I rate the likes of Fred, (and to be biased, Grigg and Gafa) over Darby. I think there is a fair amount of nostalgia over Darby, who was a dominant scorer in the early days. But the other guys were also pretty decent scorers early on, were far superior defenders, and have done it over a much longer period than Darby.

Well, I just have to choose Gaffney, without question! It's a real honour to have him mentioned in the same league as the other superstars.

Both picks I based on early performances. I've only started the last 3 seasons so i had to look back at what stats i could find.
Sheperds performance as NT coach is still the benchmark I believe, and he also reached the last 16 in BBB with his team which has never been matched by an Australian team.

Darby was the main man early going buy the records of early games.
