1-17 easily. If somebody is missing 16 shots, somebody else isn't making shots. Easy choice.

You're being unrealistic now, so there's no point.

Speak BASKETBALL terms, not mathematics.

But the simulation is based on mathematics. My point is simply that because there isn't a limited number of possessions, then it doesn't matter how many possessions are wasted, it only matters how many possessions succeed in points.

No the original question was in regards to buzzerbeater (a basketball simulation).
If we are talking about real life then sure it is limited, but in BB there is no limit to possessions.

But 1-17 lets 2 points through, 0-8 lets 0 points through.

It's a basletball question. That's the context everyone has based their answer on.

LOL this has gone way past pointless, lets all agree to disagree.

Also matt please delete your post from the South MVP section, that thread is for results not discussion.

Cheers

I think at this point, Naker either doesn't understand basketball very well or he's just practicing his debating for his law class and arguing for the sake of arguing.

It's all gotten a little bit silly now.

Once you've graduated and you're in a firm, particularly a large one. I was lucky enough to land at a small commercial litigation firm, so I'm not quite as indoctrinated as large firm people.

There is nothing wrong with working for a large firm. My friend worked for Mallesons Stephen Jaques in the Rialto Building one of the top 5 law firms in Victoria and that gave him a fast track to a lucrative career where he now earns more money than he knows what to do with. He has his own office, secretary, sports cars, 4 wheel drives, the house a few doors up from him which is not even close to as good as his just sold for $1,500,000. He and I used to travel the world together backpacking as students around the middle east but now I am still backpacking and he is staying in 5 star accomodation. It really isn't so bad.

When he compares our situations he says, "as a teacher you have the respect of society, but I am considered a parasite so I need my millions to cheer me up."

Edit to remove potentially defamatory material.

TL;DR: The behaviour of many people in my profession makes me very sad. There's a reason why most people despise lawyers.
