That's reaching a bit because for starters if not fair match 4 on 5 .. That game should be walk over. forfeit. the lucky fan thing has to go.. if a fan touch the floor it should automatic forfeit.. It unfair to have a free player playing on the floor.

4 vs 5 should be walk over.

I thought you were just complaining about too much change and restrictions in another thread very recently. Now you want 4 vs 5 to be an automatic walkover? He won because his 4 players were slightly better than the 5 players they were facing on the floor and he had home court as well as the GDP massively on his side.
As for the loss for the thread starter, he guessed Inside and Fast for the GDP and was wrong on both of them. His opponent played Motion which is outside and normal, which means the Inside guess was a double wrong hit and the fast was a wrong hit as well. Also, he played 2-3 and had an awful OD rating against a team that played Motion, so his opponent hit a lot of jumpers and a decent amount of 3s which kept him in the game and eventually put him over the top.

Look basketball is 10 vs 10 and has always been that way.. some say 15 vs 15 if we count the coaches.. the best 5 hit the floor not the best 4 , you dress 5 players on both sides.. now in the real world on any level the game is stopped if the other team don't more than 5 players on the floor. The is a game over , walk over. unless they have subs to come in to keep the game going. If not,its a forfeit... That's the rules

That's not a complaint by me ,that's the way basketball has always been, unless you want to play nba jam.

Maybe to make it fun, if a player goes down, instead of lucky fan coming in, BB should actually have the game being 5 vs 4 players. That would be interesting. LOL.

I don't have problem with loosing. Ok, his 4 players are better than mine whole team. My problem is that we played equal game, 5 on 5, 2,5 quarters, and when he was left with 4 players he won the game. Thats what doesnt make sense...

Yea it is messed up . I had one team try that crap on me once, he was doing to it others., I dusted him in our match and the next time I played him he played his full roster. Every time since then he has played his full roster.

On the other hand, when the player who fouled out committed his final foul, you were behind by 8 points:

But, yeah, games can have weird streaks. I started my last league game, a very important home game, down 10-0 after six minutes and had the lead by the end of the first. I've had other games where the game has completely turned around at halftime, or games where one team dominates the first and fourth quarters and the other owns the middle quarters. Weird stuff happens.

I'm not sure whose rules we attempting to emulate but in the NBA this would have happened.

BTW, this is not a forfeit or a walkover, so maybe should actually look up the rules before commenting on what they think should happen without doing research.

RULE NO. 3—PLAYERS, SUBSTITUTES AND COACHES
Section I—Team
a. Each team shall consist of five players. No team
may be reduced to less than five
players. If a player in the game receives his sixth
personal foul and all substitutes have
already been disqualified, said player shall remain
in the game and shall be charged with a
personal and team foul. A technical foul also shall
be assessed against his team. All subse-
quent personal fouls, including offensive fouls, sh
all be treated similarly. All players who
have six or more personal fouls and remain in the g
ame shall be treated similarly.

I remember this exact scenario with the Lakers last season. Anyone else remember? Yes this would be ideal, but unfortunately I think it would mess with the GE, and we would have even more people complaining about how "their player has 8 fouls and is still draining threes on my team, it isn't fair". Main reason is simply it would probably mess with the GE.
