Hello BB Australia,

I am Latino Heat of the Los Coolfreakz El'Ninios and I have registered for this election. A fellow Aussie like yourselves, I am very passionate about the success of our country here on buzzerbeater. I do whatever I can to help out our national teams and I'm always searching for ways to improve our teams in any way I can, whatever my position in the community may be.

A lot about my history, experience and what I offer can be found here (http://www.buzzerbeater.com/community/forum/read.aspx?thr...) in the debate thread. I really hope you can take the time to read it and all of the debate thread. Its already started to get a little entertaining ;)

In short I have learnt from some of Australia's best, I have been a very active member of the Australian community in all areas since I joined up, and bring such a high energy level/time/worth ethic/enthusiasm to this game that is unfortunately hard to find at this point in time within the Australian community. Im already doing it but if elected I will put a greater focus on encouraging as many Australian coaches as i can to get more involved with anything and everything BB Australia wise. It really does become a much more enoyable game the more active you become.

I feel I have a suitable amount of knowledge about this game to manage our U21 side. Always learning more though each day. This is Australia's team and again if elected I will share my thoughts, ideas and anything else that comes to mind regarding our team with anyone in Australia who is interested. Obviously the veteran coaches who have been here for a long time know heaps of things and are a good source of help but for me, if anyone can prove to be really interested with what we are trying to achieve then your voice will be heard and taken into account. Eg. I will not rule anyones suggestions out just because you havent played for 'x' amount of seasons. In saying that though, at the end of the day, all decisions I make will be for the greatest benefit to the U21 NT!

Guess thats my little introduction/speech. Questions and Answers will take place in the debat thread. Please read my piece using the link above as I said earlier. Goodluck to any other candidates.

Lets get Australia to the top!

Thanks

Hello everybody.

Yes, I still exist. I haven't gone bot, after all these seasons in the wilderness.

I have been searching for some inspiration after slowly losing interest all the way from ABBL down to IV.6! After some kind words from some long time friends in this game, I have decided that this is exactly the role I need to reinvigorate me and motivate me to bring myself back to the ABBL and finish what I started 6 seasons ago.

For those of you who are too young to remember, or for those old timers nearing retirement homes, I was U21 NT coach for 4 seasons, and with my trusty assistants by my side, we arguably had our most successful crop of youngsters in our history. I believe this legacy carried into Leeroy's term, with our hard work subsequently leading to a successful Asian Championship (runner up) run the following season.

I certainly have the tactical smarts and am widely considered one of the most prolific trainers of Australian U21 and NT talent in recent history. Current NT players include Dell'Asta and McArthur, who are both close to the top in total National Team appearances. Other players I have refined for national team roles include Neal and Moylan.

I also have a strong pedigree in training U21 national team players, with Dell'Asta, McArthur and Ton all being strong players for the team. With my rookie guard Rylance (thanks microlol!) on the verge of a call up at the tender age of 20, I look set to have another national team representative to add to my resume.

I have an exceptional history in mentoring, and am not afraid to tell it like it is. I believe those who I have helped over the my 13 seasons in this game have benefited immensely and as a result we have a stronger nation and stronger friendships in this game than when I first joined.

I have had a look at our talent over the next few seasons. It look like we have be in a bit thin this season, and the recent drafts have not helped. This season the talent is quite solid in terms of draftees, so I believe we can make a strong push for the Asian Championship and World Championship in the 3rd and 4th season from now. I have certainly learnt from my first eye opening experience in the Worlds.

I would like to extend my thanks to those who have contacted me recently wondering how I've been. I would also like for Latino to continue running. As I believe a healthy debate will bring the best out of him, win or lose.

I look forward to bringing back the glory days. Days where we would all watch U21 games together, hate on the Filipino's, and stand up to the farm nations.
