Ofc it is important to have a balanced roster, but before that, what you need to do is analyse the opponent's strengths and weaknesses. This is what Indian managers aren't doing. If your opponent has strong inside defense but weak outside defense, you'd naturally want to choose outside based offense, such as motion, RnG, and if your opponent has strong inside offense but weak outside offense, you'd want to play defensive tactics like 2-3 zone. Don't stick to 1 tactic. That is a mistake. With your roster, you should be able to win almost all the games in your league, if you are attacking the opponent's weaknesses.
But you need more players. 8 players isn't enough to keep good GS. Maintaining high GS is very essential. Again, this is what Indian managers can't do: better GS will lead to better performance. Give your players between 48-72 minutes every week and their GS will stay around strong-proficient. In order to distribute so, you ideally want 11-13 players.
Your seat costs in your arena is too expensive. You need to lower them to earn more income. I'd say $17 for bleachers, $50 for lower tiers, $190 for courtside seats, $1300 for luxury boxes. Also look around in your league how much other managers are setting the seat prices for etc. And expand your arena too on regular basis.
Are you training any of your players? Can I take a look at your Indian players Shatrughan Dixit and Vihari Mishra? I can help you with how you should train them etc. If they are trained properly, they could possibly be part of India U-21 National Team.
P.S.
BBmail me those players' skills if you don't want to show their skills in the public forum.
