Federation Standings

It was a slight shift in numbers but a massive shift in positions. With the Kevin Virus over and Slam ! going down to Koopasaurus and the Seagulls taking down DFBS the Calamari have just inked their way past Kevin and back into first spot. There is one week to go so lets look at the possibilities.

The West

Pancakes is safe at the top and the Knights are safe in second unless Zazzocalypse can inflict a massive loss on the Pancakes.
Zazzocalypse and Monkey Business are fairly safe in 3rd and 4th.
Koopasaurus and Chelsea Seagulls are neck and neck. The Seagulls have an easy game against the Maggots while Koop has to take on the dangerous Goldfish. Probably they will remain the same.
In 7th, 8th and 9th place we have Slam ! who should win, Melbourne Goldfish who should lose and Da Fat Boy Slim who should lose. So those positions should all stay the same as well.
Finally Viral Infections will forefit but stay 10th, Rampaging Marmots should be owned by Slam! and Maggots will continue testing their 18 year olds.

So our exciting prediction for the West is...no change.

The East

Cowboys From Hell are locked into first.
SASTROOPERS will smash the beasts and retain 2nd.
3rd Western Titans and 4th Possum Chasers can at most swap with each other but I don't expect it.
5th Persepolis Immortals the recently dumped Kevin team have 5th all locked up.
6th - 10th amos rogues, jw all-stars, TeamAkuma, Eggplantpopolopolous and Beasts Red. This where all the action can take place. In a game that needs some capital letters the amos rogues take on jw all-stars, if the Guppies are to have any chance of catching the Sharks this is a must win. TeamAkuma should beat the struggling shooters. I can't see SAS risking second spot against the Beasts. That leaves Eggplantpopolopolous against the winless Home Axis in a game they would think they should win. This could potentially, with a big enough win, catapult them above TeamAkuma, amos rogues and jw all-stars for +3 points and the league championship. However Home Axis has recently restocked their team and now have the firepower to even take this one.
Finally shepparton shooters and Home Axis are unlikely to win and unlikely to shift.

The final week sees no changes at all and so I am especially proud to announce the winners of the season three Fishbowl Private League Federations Championship is...the IV.7 Calamari.

It was an exciting last week with some major upsets. Dumped Kevin'er Xerxes took his jihad out on the Western Titans and the new and improved Home Axis team took out the highly favoured Eggplantpopolopolous. Even more amazing Zazzocalypse was able to take down the mighty Pancakes with Jam and Cream, the first team to legitimately do it.

It has been an exciting season and the result was still in doubt right up until the last round. After two seasons of XBB Shark domination I am certainly glad to see someone else take the title. The management of the Fishbowl, Koopasaurus and I would like to take this opportunity to thank every member of the league for all of their positive contributions and we are looking forward to many more in the future.

As for the prize of 3 months free supporter, it shall be given to a random Calamari member in the order in which they finished the season. The number shall be generated by the last digit of the final score of the West's Final with a countback if the number is unsuitable.

In season four the Fishbowl will be expanding to three full divisions which should make things very interesting. Many teams have come and gone and we wish that they all continue to enjoy and support this great game of BuzzerBeater. Without supporters we would not have all of this.
