His issue is that to be single position trained in OD he will have to spend a lot of time as a PG and he will suck. Maybe just smash it up to at least sensational while he is 19 in scrimmages and then it wont matter so much later about his horrific passing.

OD and JR are 2 skills that are such a pain to train. Even my 18 year old's JR training takes times. There was one time when he didn't pop in JR for 3 weeks. I thought JR would pop every 2 weeks for sure because he's 18, but it seems like that wasn't the case.
But once JR is up and so is OD, the rest becomes much easier to handle.

I definatly agree with that....
and now for my trainees, choubey has been quite quick in learning...he has had a total of 10 pops so far(including 1 in ID) and dubey has had a total of 7 pops so far(but he still sucks)....

A great result against Luxembourge, I was watching a lot of this game live and it was looking tight. We already had Hashmat Firosh our starting SG out injured and in the first minute of the game we lost our starting PF Sarfaraz Ishtaq for the match to an injury.

1 11:31 0 — 0 S. Ishtaq (H) attempts a jump-shot from the wing
1 11:31 0 — 0 B. Cocq (A) is called for a shooting foul.
1 11:31 0 — 0 S. Ishtaq (H) takes a hard shot and will have to leave the game.

Considering we only have 8 real players on the team that left us with just 6 functional players and a bunch of our "saves"who were only suited up for the experience.

After the 1st we were up 2. Late in the 2nd we were down 4 and at the half we were still up just 2. Scary times. Then in the second half we pulled right away finishing with a 25-15 3rd and a devastating 32-9 4th.

There were great performances by several players.

LUX played a FCP against us but our floor general Hashmat Gnanam just ripped it apart having 0 turnovers and 7 assists, a pity about his poor shoting.

Star of the high profile team Indiens de Polytech, Dharmakeerti Kumar, forced to play SF after the injury reshuffle was a monster with 13 REB, 7 AST and 24 PTS.

#23's Indian star Aanandakumar Ghosh was awesome not just scoring 23 points but having a team high 8 assists.

Velmurugan Dey had to contend with the much bigger LUX big men and did it well enough to keep us in the game, he didn't stop a lot of shots but he did rebound the misses.

Diganta Subramanyam had his best game with the team chipping in a much needed 16 points off the bench.

But our man of the match was clearly Aloki Peppin our 6'5" SF who had to fill in almost the entire game at PF and dragged down an amazing 17 rebounds to go with his impressive 24 points.

Great win team!

He looks good, only the thing is that he's nearly 20 year old now. I'm not sure if he could be useful to our U21 NT. But maybe if he was to be trained properly for 1 season, then maybe he'll have a chance towards the end of season 18.

I agree but he could become something really special for the NT with that HoF potential.

Yeah, if trained properly, he can be a useful player for our NT. 20 year old trainee is still worth training. I had a player whom I bought for around 200k at the age of middle 20, then trained for 2 full seasons and sold for around 900k. So with the right training, he can be a valuable player (maybe a SF, looking at his height, but may specialize in one area since he's already reaching 20).

I think the manager said he wants to make him a SF, he is doing OD next. You know how rare and valuable a true SF is and they need good potential for all the million skills they need. It will be a long road but hopefully one day he will be on the NT.

Yeah...only if he was 18 year old...

But training from 20 year old isn't too bad. Players still improve consistently and within 2-3 seasons, he could be a solid player.
