I wouldn't call it a "pay to win" game either. But there are certainly advantages if you pay, which isn't how it's advertised.

Apart from the one I already mentioned?

1. The ability to bookmark.
2. The ability to search forums.
3. The ability to play in private leagues.
4. The ability to list for 7 days rather than 3.
5. The ability to use 8 search criteria rather than 4.
6. The ability to automatically find a scrimmage.
7. The ability to view training history.
8. The ability to save searches on the TL.

There are probably more, but those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head.

Sure, they aren't HUGE advantages, but they ARE advantages.

In boxscore we don't see number of altered shots, team rebounds, offensive fouls, half-cour shots in last second of quarters, length of actions.
Non-supporter needs to spent one and a half hour with paper and pencil to check something, what supporter can find in 30 seconds.

The idea is that you don't get any in game advantages from being a supporter. You get plenty of outside advantages as far as knowledge and information go.

I think it's a really good balance. Much less and nobody would buy supporter.

Please imagine that non-supporter can't see tactic of opponent. Or he can see only whether skill is below or above 10, but can't see exact value.
In your point of view supporter will not have in-game advantage. I think worse access to data is disadvantage if BB is tactical and/or strategical game.

The definition of an in game advantage is an advantage that happens after the game starts.

Once the tactics are set, the game is perfectly equal. That means nobody can pay to win, and makes the game equal for supporters and non-supporters. The fact that supporters can get more information is not an in game advantage. It is a small out of game advantage that assists supporters in stat searching and researching the game in general.

Your example of not seeing the tactics is something completely different.

In the same way if you don't see skills I can say it isn't in-game disadvantage because when game starts then chances are equal, so it's out of game disadvantage.
If I can't see statistics of altered shots I think it is disadvantage. This knowledge can influence my decisions.

From my experience, SB is best used against inside shots, while ID is better against driving layups. So I wouldn't waste time training SB on my guards.
