lol.

I thought Thayer would tie it up twice with 3s but he missed. Then after some SFW free throws he sinks hits back-to-back 3s to keep hope alive!

10 seconds to go ....

Nope. And I'm going to miss and foul quickly enough to let him get to 106 again.

Tough loss, hrudey.

Congrats to Zenith on the victory! Best of luck in the NBBA.

Was a great championship series and game guys - too bad someone does have to lose.

Congrats indeed. Between the finals and my PL game, I've given up 100 in four straight games. If I had any doubt that this was the time to drop down, that put it to rest. I am glad I didn't decide to do it earlier (and believe me, I came close to selling off after last season and again once I started seeing skill drops on Menard and Honeycutt). I'm especially happy that I didn't lose because I made bad decisions or because I got away from what I do, but because I put out the best I could do and my opponent again just put out something a little better.

I think the NBBA's getting the right team, though, and kind of like Reggie Miller's retirement, my guys at least gave it a good fight.

Thank you. RSC does have a much more in-depth team and they had an impressive run in the national tournament this season. On the other hand I was out extremely early and burnt a lot of money this season, therefore I wouldn't really considered myself the biggest winner of II.4 this season.

There are many different ways to be a "winner" in this game. (Some of which appear to only be understandable to the individual doing them.)

You set your goal as winning the league and promoting to the NBBA - and you accomplished that goal. No need to shy away from the accomplishment.

Time for me to get some dinner. Next thing to look forward to is the draft - hope random.org did a good job of scouting for me this season.

That was a crazy game to watch. Holy cow.
I also was expecting those Thayer 3's to strike gold.
I must admit I was cheering for the Clogs.

Congratulations to the SF Warriors on their victory.
Zenith's squad is brutal, particularly the bigs.
It would have been cool to see them joining last season's champs in the NBBA, but the GS Warriors are coming back to DII.

Thank you again! BTW, I found out that the system is still paying for the 3rd finals game; Hrudey and I thought that's not a thing anymore.

From the news post at the start of the season, my understanding is that teams are no longer paid based on the attendance of the third game. Instead the league champion gets a set amount and the runner-up a lower amount. And you get this whether or not there actually is a third game. Of course we'd need to ask teams involved in a series that only went two games to confirm the latter part.

There's a flat fee paid to the winner and loser of the finals - you got 250k and I got 125k. It's not attendance based anymore, so teams won't have a reason to tank for a third game unless it's for training reasons.

That's fair. BTW I took screenshots of your players to research patterns of the game system.
