It really depends on the D3 you may get into. I don't know what Tackett's est. salary is but Hajri is about the only D3 player you really have.

Antonsson, Gorlidis, Klimczak, Strze and likely Kimball would need to get flushed to bring in at least another $60k+ franchise big (in case you did get Budz).

The promo bonus is only $300k which isn't much unless you're going for a 33+ vet. That'd only keep you competitive for a few seasons until you'd have to move them, at a loss.

Good money in D3 though, so maybe investing that in your LB and CT sections will help you build a bigger financial base. As it is, you're better off to pick one or the other. Splitting it down the middle would likely see you demote in a season.

Slashing Dragons is blowing up. There may be some good pieces there. Bigger upside than Budz IMO http://www.buzzerbeater.com/team/23430/players.aspx

Well Tackett, Kangmin, Douglas, and Tomasino are my future right now, and will be for at least the next 6 or 7 seasons. I think if I can add some players around them I could compete. or I could just play for a nice draft pick next season since I will be nearly done training these guys by then. :)

I know my arena needs some work. I think I'm done building bleachers for now, but I would like to get my LT up to around 4000, my CT up to around 400, and my LB up to around 25 before i start building more bleachers. I think this can be done 2 seasons from now.

If I can get good quality backups to replace Strzesniewski and Klimczak, then I think I'll be set.

Looks like you got the finals sewn up. From my experience I would recommend going for the sweep. I went for the money (3 games) and the 'last season' section of the fan survey haunted me for the first 1/3 of the season. Offsetting my promotion bonus some.

I had mentioned this in last season's thread about banking on 'supreme vets' to get into D3. Last season's champ, Georgia Powerriders, are a great example. They just got swept in RL and are coming back to D4. http://goo.gl/SZOcNK

S25 Champ, San Diego Eagles, just survived RL their 2nd season in. http://goo.gl/l6gMIh

Big Head Todd (Schlitty) of S24 fame is currently making a push for D2 but will need to take two games straight after dropping the first. He's in the same D3 as Georgia Powerriders (there are only 16 D3's). http://goo.gl/ES4Mo4

Kangmin and Douglas are a bit old to be putting that much faith into. They're 3+ seasons removed from max training and are just cracking double digits. They will be mostly defined by 26yo. Franchise players in D3 are mid $50k-$70k. You'll need 2 to 3 of those to compete.

Good luck in D3.

Wow, spoke too soon. Looks like Ragman may have taken things a bit too lightly. Game 2 and A. Driscoll goes off with a season high 37 pts on 63% shooting via LI.

Bull Knights posts 2 foul outs and loses the battle of the boards by 10. They also find themselves on the flipside of efficiency at 84 vs. Delroy's 124.

Ragman holds the HCA and the ENT for Game 3 but has yet to login for the last 3 days. A missed lineup or a GDP lotto by Delroy could be all the difference in a single season rebound back into D3. Stay tuned!

Ragman moves on to D3. Driscoll of Delroy picks up the MVP.

B.I.G. Ballers sweep the RL to send Kansas PHOG.packing to D5. Inactive DreamTeam3 rolls up Ten Jaguars in 2 games too. Looks like 4 new teams will be joining the B8 this offseason, should be exciting.

Note: I'd made the mistake earlier that DT3 was rebuilding when it fact it appears it was a liquidation sale. They haven't logged in since 6/4 and the players were sold off on 7/3.

If anyone is curious, check the official offseason processing schedule: (259551.1)

Good luck in the draft.

'Twas a great privilege to play with all of you, and best of luck to everyone. I will never forget my last 5 seasons spent in a very tough D.IV.10.

@Mix - Thanks for everything. Ive learned alot since you joined this league, and I have to say you are great manager. Good luck to you and maybe I'll see you up in D.III next season.

@Wolfpack Nation - It was fun playing your squad in a very competitive finals. Your squad is definitely a formidable force. Good luck next year and congrats to Driscoll for getting the MVP. He kicked our butts in the three final games.

@Ragman - All the best of luck, bro. Give my best to Lakers Celts, my old leaguemate from IV.49 and also to The Officials who is a friend IRL that I've had the pleasure of running actual games with on those west coast courts. Enjoy that real money. We'll all be rooting for you...from the bleachers since those D3 LB's are too expensive. :)
