he only way to tank properly is to stay in the IPBL at 6th or 7th position so that you get to earn some more money in PO games as well as more cash in attendance.Considering that you get a U21 player you get more merchandise money(although not much it still counts) and if you train him right you will have one good player less to buy.

well it is an arguable point..i think that it is better to stay in the top 5.here are some points in its favour-
if you fall down to the sixth position in your conference then u will be loosing about 50k every week as compared to the team placed fourth.so even if you get an extra game than that team you still will be losing financially.
secondly getting a good draft pick is random and 6th or 7th spot will not guarantee you a good draft pick.

You know, I only realized that there is a prize for participating in B3 after you posted this! Seriously, I thought there is no prize for B3 at all lol :D (after all, it's pretty hard to realize that your cash increased by 20k...)

Staying in the top 5 is not guaranteed since you will have to weaken the team for tanking faster and that one extra game at home will cover up most of the lost 50k. Its like this: You try to stay in the top 5 the entire season but fall to 6th place for two last games and then then buy a 18 yr old prospect since draft never guarantees s good pick(being in the IPBL and all). To this you need to have control over atleast 4 positions in the league and requires too much planning and online time.I did this one season and I collected more than two million.Buying a prospect and lvl 6 trainer is good to build a solid foundation for the team.

And just 20k for the International tournament, doesn't suit the occasion considering that the best teams play but thats just an opinion. Maybe its all about pride.

If you give too much money then you give too much of an advantage to those teams in their home country battles.

staying in the top 5 is not that much difficult..tungi stayed in the top 5 for the 4 seasons in which he tanked.i have been in the top 5 every time except once(last season)..its just how you manage your limited resources and enthusiasm.
as far as the trainer is concerned i think that level 6 and level 7 are over hyped.you can get a lvl 5 trainer for less than 500k but to buy a lvl 6 trainer you need about a million and to buy a lvl 7 you need about 2 mil.if you ask me then lvl 5 is better to buy than lvl 6 or 7.
and on the prize money for B3 games,if the teams are given heavy amount of money then they will have a huge edge over their rivals in their respective countries.

That is true about the prize money but they are also playing more games compared to the rivals affecting game shape, stamina and injuries too.Maybe and I am not sure about this but it affects enthusiasm as well.I agree with you on the trainer but a trainers level difference is observed more at the later stages of a players career than how most of the managers compare it at a younger age.And staying in the top 5 is not difficult but at the end of 4-5 seasons how many players will you buy since the players you have will grow old. That causes the main problem.Since it is difficult to buy a complete team along with good subs. Thats the reason why building a better core can be the difference between a champion team and a challenger.Just an opionion.
