I got too busy sometimes and I forgot to set my lineup a few times in the past 2 seasons. If GSW and I both won he would still secure the 5th seed due to my punishment for forfeiting the games this season.

It seems that I will have to win the relegation series in order to stay in this league.

Dang. Well, I surprisingly took down the Clogs, but the Lethargy lost to Forza, so the Clogs keep 2nd place.

A bit of venting: my Prominent FT shooting Spencer Sylvester went 0-4, putting him at 58.7% FT shooting for the season.
That is simply ridiculous any way you slice it. Boo, Buzzerbeater, boo.

You were probably the only one surprised. I expected to lose (and half expected you'd CT), but I was pretty happy to postpone the inevitable HCA+Effort+LI result until about four minutes to go.

On the venting side myself, my team had higher outside shooting rating than your outside defense, with more than 100 PP100 for the 2, 3 and 4 positions, and we put up a whopping 3-31 from beyond the arc. But I suppose I shouldn't complain because outside offenses are so clearly overpowered that any misfortune I suffer on that front is well earned.

(Of course, on a more serious note, OD in the game is highly overpowered and I get much more benefit from that than I suffer from the fact that it's impossible to score unless you're scoring inside or have excessively good outside shooters).

I was tempted to CT, but all I really wanted to do was put up enough of a fight to stay in 5th place, which just meant having a close-ish game with you, win or lose. I guess it didn't matter, as the Lethargy lost, so I could have CT'd and all would be the same.

I did feel fortunate that you missed so many 3's, but I was also steamed that my SG started off 1-10, as he's my best shooter by far.

Oh, and sorry about the injury. Glad it was just for the game.

Not at this point of the season - that all resets in the offseason, and that sort of thing doesn't really have a large influence on attendance in the playoffs either.

I know in the past I've CT'd the finale when in fifth, but usually I wouldn't if it would influence the playoff races too much.

I was surprised your SG didn't shoot as well either, but very surprised how easily you were scoring at SF. I would have anticipated the reverse of that, though Schulz was having a relatively crappy night at SF so I didn't mind the injury at the least (since I had checked before tipoff to make sure nobody was lost permanently). I think had I been putting the type of effort into scouting recently as I used to, I probably would have had Namo starting, but that may have backfired in different ways.

Primo Namo, while intimidatingly monikered, was running a really low DMI compared to Shultz. He must have a crazily unique skill-set for you to consider starting him. Spencer can be pretty effective at SF sometimes, other times, he is strangely irrelevant. Kind of a bummer. But, usually when that happens, someone else makes up for it. When they don't, I lose.

It would have been mostly for the rebounding, since Namo's built more like a true SF than Shultz. I still might not have, since usually Shultz is one of my best scorers, though tonight he ate dogfarts on the offensive side too. I suppose in the grand scheme it didn't matter - your team was better tonight and I imagine that the odds are good that anything I tried differently would not have changed it. I just hope to be out of this league so I don't get to rematch with you any time soon.
