That depends. I assume the ratings are what gives your players the appropriate percentage chance of completing a play. If for instance your chance of rebounding a shot is 60% for a strong rebounder, that chance will increase under CT but it would also increase if he was a prominent rebounder so we aer basically saying the same thing.

Do we know how a high level TIE compares to a mid level normal? For instance is TIE with a 10 enthusiasm going to allow you to play the same as if you had a 5 enthusiasm and played normal?

It's been my experience that my players play as well or better, on TIE with high enthusiasm. I'd expect results to vary, however.

If you think of a BB game as a series of coinflips, CT makes the coin weighted to your advantage -- and TIE the opposite. Given the random factors, you can never be 100% sure. High enthus makes your players better, but whether it will make them good enough to miss a few extra shots against the opponent will depend on who you're playing.

It has been said on the forums, and accepted to a certain extent, that a TIE with enthusiasm 9-10 gives you the same level of performance as a Normal with enthusiasm 5. Rough estimates put it that with TIE, you play with half you current enthusiasm and with CT you play with double. But these are just estimates being bandied about with no concrete proof behind them.

I've TIE-ed my last game and my team enthusiasm level went from 5 to 7. That was yesterday. Today, it went down to 6.
My next league game is in two days. What can I expect to happen with my team's enthusiasm level in meantime? I mean, will there be another drop or will I go into that game with level 6 enthusiasm?

regarding entheusiasm in the play offs...

As you are not able to use TIE or CT in the playoffs does that mean that your entheusiasm level is set for the whole playoffs at the level at which you start?

No.

Enthusiasm is not reset, and the two options can impact enthusiasm.

Playoff Normal will raise enthusiasm, while Playoff CT will keep it the same.
