Thank for the shout out. He's been a real lifer.... so tasty. Don't take this as bragging, but I think my plan circa 2011-12 was players with no holes, and it even pre-dated the tsp revolution! You were on the same trajectory prob.

Floyd is money. I think I could sell him for a million even now..... Thanks for the great player.

A few questions for the veterans. I've never played in a relegation series, and most likely will this season. Do relegation teams get attendance money for that series? If so, how is it split?? Home team gets all or 50/50 each game?? Thanks.

I didn't think it was that humble to be honest. I own it. ;)

The future of Emory Sowell is now in your purportedly capable hands. I unsuccessfully pitched his inclusion on the U21 roster, which is a TRAVESTY. I hope he brings you much joy, but shoots 1-9 from downtown against me whenever we play.

His future potential might be an uphill battle but I'll take Emory Sowell and an extra $400k for Ed Cole.

Does anyone think I had a chance last game? I don't know what the hell I did, but I forgot to confirm my lineup last night and I possibly could have beaten the #1 ranked US team... I'm such an idiot sometimes

Hmmm that's a tough call. On one hand you were playing the #1 team in the country! Their coach probably has a good idea of what team to throw together to get a win AND they were up by 20 to start the 4th quarter. On the other hand I'm assuming you didn't play your best lineup. You had just made a transfer for Kouros and I'm not sure but your PG/SF Ruiwen might have been healthy for that game. Though had you played them they both would have had poor game shape. Taking into account HCA and CT vs TIE my conclusion is yes you had chance. A good chance... no but still a chance.

Obviously starting a combined 4k worth of players in your front court didn't help; however, I don't think you really had the personnel on your roster to start guys in their place that would have made a difference. No matter who you started, you were going to get killed on the boards....it's obviously tough to beat any team, let alone a great team when you give up 10+ more shots than your team takes.

Also, Arbeitman and Dockery are shooting in the low 20% range for the season and Dockery went 4/10 from 3, and Arbeitman was 0/5 at the end of the 3rd quarter, before shooting 4/6 from long range in 4th quarter garbage time. NBBA/b3 teams don't shoot well from long range against TKI , so it's safe to say the GE was being kind to you and that the score was a lot closer than the game actually was.

I do think this game illustrates a bigger point though....It's always a risk for a lower division team to Crunch to stay alive in the tournament....especially at this stage of the cup, when 90% of the teams that are left are quality teams...so to completely blow up your enthusiasm to win one game, has little upside anyway; it's an even less worthwhile risk when it's almost a certainty that you will lose in the next round....additionally, when a team is in the situation you are in, fighting to avoid relegation, that enthusiasm is very valuable.

So if you are going to take that risk, you might want to make sure you that you are 100% sure you are putting your best foot forward, because to blow up that enthusiasm and lose a game with less than your best team on the floor, and have nothing but uncertainty, unanswered questions, and a tough sled ahead, just adds to the frustration.
