The switch was something I did one player at a time. Found a suitable American replacement for a foreign guy, bought one and sold the other. It was a little bit of a process, but I was able to keep winning while doing it so it worked well for me.

Boo. I'm impatient. I'm doing it all NOW!

In terms of the NT training debate, my only point is that it's negative for Utopia not to have a NT. And since game wide I'm kind of sick of just trying to promote and am struggling to make money, the NT is a benefit I look at for a goal sometime. But generally I agree, you don't train primarily for the NT.

Hey look! People are in the forums!

Yes, and what's up with the Lumberjacks? Only five games in and he already has more losses than last season?

I'm kinda meh about Buzzerbeater right now. Forgot to set my lineup for the last 4 games...I dunno, losing interest I guess.

The lack of forum activity definitely affects the gain though, because going from D.III to D.II. you expect the forums to be more excited and for there to be more posts, but when that is not the case it is a severe letdown.

Div II is the soul crushing reality of BB that you are good but will never be good enough to compete fully (without blowing your load on expensive players). You start to realize you need a long term plan if you want to make it, rather than a get rich quick scheme. It's basically like real life when you start to get a real job but then realize while your life is very good, you will never be a multimillionaire. Div III and below you still have hope. ;)

I also went all-american to add intrigue. Utopia helps from the standpoint not of training specifically but of having to buy and train efficiently. With no money and small arenas you have to actually try to find an edge rather than just pumping up the usuals.

Oh I remember why I came in here. Is anyone else having a unusually hard time with game shape? Wondering if it has something to do with the stamina changes. Some of my guys are struggling because I purchased them recently, however, my long term guys are killing me right now. Examples:

Rex Perez played 69, 71, and 78 minutes the first three weeks and is at respectable GS, awful stamina.
Phil McHugh played 72, 74, and 73 minutes the first three weeks and is at respectable GS, mediocre stamina.
Lee Atkins played 66, 54, and 73 minutes the first three weeks and is at strong GS, mediocre stamina.

Now I understand high 70s might be a bit much but I shoot for around 70-72 minutes a week for my key guys which has always been reasonable, especially as I always have a massage doctor. Now we're three weeks into the season and I feel like my guys are still flaccid...

I am! Michelle Bello got 64 minutes last week and went from 8 to 7 GS. In fact, I don't think I had a single increase this week.

Granted I did forget to update my lineup for a couple games a couple weeks ago.

Well to be fair, most of the reason is probably because he has a girls name.
