Well here is my strat:

1. Open up the newspaper to the stock list section
2. Pin the newspaper up against the wall
3. Find 5 darts
4. Throw them at the newspaper
5. Invest on the one that it hit!

Yeah I'm ineligible for the 15k prize....

They were nice however and put up 1k for the winner from the westpac staff and we had to join our own special group code for this....


Also I should clarify we are just the major sponsor it is a news.com comp but either way yes a conflict of interest none the less if me or someone from westpac won it.

We have gone down like $8 over the last 6 months but I'd be surprised if the share price rockets up over such a short 6 week comp

damn this is awesome! have already allocated my $100k... on stocks that I can't buy at the moment in real life...
I also work for a big 4 bank, ANZ, well OnePath, which is owned by ANZ and has a ANZ logo's throughout the building so close enough hahah.
