There is always an election at the beginning of every season anyway, whether it be NT or U21s
That's true but it's also a very short turnaround from the final to start of season. People can easily forget with new rookies coming into the team, and trying to find new players to help improve the side. Not saying I hate the short turnaround, just saying, it could be a reason why people forget.
