Maybe Vis Maior is trying to say thank you for kicking his ass last play off :D. I often have to remind him that his inside offense are futile against my bigs. but i can't blame the guy since defending against a multi-dimensional team can be mentally draining.
Muvley at SG playing 48 minutes and C.T... tsk tsk... cheeky cheeky....., expecting Vis Maior to tank his next match.


I had a deeper look into this and I find it extremely odd that Kilr would play C.T. with 3 of his usual starters all rested. PG - Rizza, SG - Savcukas and C - Vandini all missing?! Especially odd to play low post with Mulvey at SG. Would have thought Run & Gun or at least Push the Ball would have made more sense.

From what i've noticed this is nothing like a usual team line-up/strategy from Vis Maior. Tricky Kilr trying to play mind games I think! I'm very intrigued to see what exactly lines up on Tuesday now.

I guess Vis Maior is trying out new tactics. I don't know why he would put Muvley at SG and play 48 minutes + L.P while his inside scoring and passing is shocking. This hints to me that these players are the best for inside offense and the others are...........

Another strange thing I noticed since last season after I played 48 min for 10 players during ASW, he has been doing the same ever since.....who knows what Vis Maior is thinking.... he looks like he has some big plan in store for you and me.

I'm just relieved to see that his BB team hasn't yet reached the same formidable level as his Battrick team. The title would be a forgone conclusion if so. Best get out of the league before he starts to take over! :-P

Wow, I got a real lesson first up. My first loss in about 20 league games. I think my team will get stronger as the season progresses. I need another good big guy bad.

Wouldn't mind watching tonight's big match up between my lads and Vis Maior. Unfortunately I have footy training and won't see the result until after. This is a must win game imo and hopefully things will go my way.

How is everyone else feeling ahead of tonight's games?

I feel my team could be in 8th position after tonights game. For some reason, even though my players have skills in the right areas, it seems they can't compete with the best teams in our division, so am hoping it's not an annihilation on DFBS' part.

Yep, tanked it and I justifiably dished out a very deserved spanking! Poor form Kilr, I expected at least some opposition tonight...

Well after the first two games I have a very handy points ratio. The one downer is my starters are only playing 30 minutes a game due to my bench playing out the final quarters. I think this is hurting my guys in the stats rankings but they still seem to be doing ok considering. Probably good for their minutes for training purposes at least.

Currently we have two Adelaide teams sitting on top of each conference. I like that! :-D

Well I am somewhat disappointed in Vis Maior, he should be playing with his best performance against you so I can see your teams true strength lol.
Anyways, he did you a favor, ur starters around got around 55-65 mins this week. U'll get strong gameshape next week and i am sure ur benchers can secure a victory for cup game with TIE.

Tt will be interesting in 2 weeks when we meet and before we meet, u've got a game with JMA and good chance u'll meet a harder opp in CUP. which game will u choose to tank? I guess it will be an enthusiasm race.

Well I'll be honest and tell you right now that the cup means diddly squat to me this season. Last season I got relegated pretty much due to getting sucked into the battlers tournament. I was glad to make it to the final 8 but honestly once I got knocked out it didn't really mean that much. I won't be chancing any games for the cup. ;-)

I'll make a deal with you, in a couple of games you can see my teams true strength... When we meet! lol
