My point is I'm a little upset that my players never won MVP trophy and I had a great shot this year. If i don't win then i probably will never do. I don't know how much longer i can keep this team if i lost the finals (which I very likely will)

I went 22-0 last regular season. I had one player receive votes, and he finished in 8th place. If you're starting a petition, consider this my signature (and it's good to know at least one of us thinks you're likely to lose the finals).

Understandable, but as Zenith pointed out, your three top players end up taking votes away from each other. But even then, I'd say all three also received a boost from your record. Based just on how well players played, I expected the MVP to be either Anaya or Vereker. And while being the conference champ helps, the fact is you only had 3 more wins than the Jack Rabbits, so it probably wasn't that big of a boost.

If you only had Eckert or Wakatsuki, the one you had might have had a better shot at winning because that one would have been your go to guy every game. But then you probably wouldn't have the record you have. It's a cruel trade off, and perhaps not completely fair.

I think it is difficult, and more so as you move up in the divisions, to both have the best overall record and have the league MVP. And in fact if you look at the NBBA and the four D.II leagues in the US, you will see that none of the MVPs are from the team with the best record. If someone were to focus on winning an MVP trophy (and I clearly may not be the best one to talk here, as I doubt I'd ever build a team with a player capable of winning an MVP), I think they need one clear stud and then 2 or 3 high quality support players. Guys who will help the team win and feed the stud, but are unlikely to take a game mvp title from the stud at any point. And of course, the stud needs to play in all 22 league games, rather than being used in cup games.

Why can't the media think from your logic and consider Harden more qualified than Curry as MVP?

I'm not sure I understand your question.

The real world media is free to do whatever they want - including voting for Russell Westbrook as MVP despite his team not even making the playoffs. They also could decide to award Harden the MVP. And if Curry does win, it won't simply be because his team had the best W-L record.

Ron and Wald were always top 3 mvp candidates
They were also the most efficient players
It has nothing to to with players eating up each other's vote on the same team

Wish I had more faith and CT'ed you yesterday. No regrets left for this one last game of the season.

According to known enthusiasms used throughout the season and in the playoffs:
I've got RSC with an 11.3 - 9.9 advantage over SFW.

Had RSC played POCT yesterday, they'd have an 8.9 to 9.9 disadvantage.

Throw SFW's home court into the mix, and this is going to be one hell of a game.

Sungrazers and Hertzsprung-Russell are going to be watching this game on the Jumbotron at Odell's House of Pancakes.

I was hoping you would have POCT'd me too - if you'd beaten me that way, that would have been confirmation that I just wasn't going to be able to beat you on the road, and if I had still won it would have given me a lot more of an edge tonight. I'm strangely at peace - after being worried about promotion as long as I have, I'm finally comfortable that if I get it, that'll be great and if not, I am ready to give in and finally rebuild. I've got some business with Pappy and Hassan in the NBBA if I do get there, so I still hope to pull it out, but this won't bother me as much as losing last season did - especially since I felt like I focused all season on promoting and then made a poor decision in the opening game and even still probably would have won without a one-minute double-flagrant foulout by Busch. Maybe half-assing a few too many games to stay in the Cup this season will be my big mistake this season. It's tough to beat guys like you and Redemption on the road, for sure - and sometimes even at home, it turns out. Anyway, good luck tonight, and if you do pull it out give 'em hell next season for me.
