It was an Estonian named "Tit" that was trainable. It would have made me giggle every time I set my lineup.

I stand corrected. It's hard to fault a fellow for being up at night when there's Tits involved.

I hope you're all ashamed. How can the league suck so much that Michael Wray, admittedly the Michaelest Clogs draft pick ever, could be selected to the three-point contest? We'll ignore for now that part of it was that Yi and Schultz and everyone else on my roster has been taking donkey pipe injections and instead focus on what's important, which is your role in causing this state of perpetual suck. If I find out that Henry Busch is going to get nominated for Miss Congeniality, some heads are going to roll.

I have to say I'm pretty impressed that I locked down both third and fourth place at the SF position, though. Getting two bigs votes in a position is no whoop (I have both the starting and backup C in my utopia league because Jelme believes in ruling through tenderness), but having two at SF is kind of neat. Of course, actually getting someone in the game might be nice, too, but I think it's clear that I'm building a team of "not quite all-stars and how the actual hell did he just score 20?" players.

My 6-7 team who has played outside oriented offenses only 3 times all season has 2 guys in the 3 point contest. Also, one of the guys making the 3 point contest is primarily a PF. It is Dussan, whom has played an outside position of SF once all regular season. Granted he's 10-24 (42%) from 3 point land, but that is against guys who generally forget about players near the 3 point line. B James also made the 3 point contest shooting 11-29 or 38%. Its a good thing he can't foul out of that.

As for the all-star team...

Luke Anderson made it. I guess when you avg 1 more assist/game than the next player the voters think you are actually a "good" PG. What they fail to realize is that he only played in 9 games selectively limiting his games vs tough opponents. So I guess he's awesome vs shit players.

B James also made the all-star team. Well done B James. Maybe this time you won't foul out of the game. For making the all-star game you get a free pass to be sold to the highest bidder (above 350,000 anyway).

And last but not least Zepeda made the all-star game. Even though he hasn't produced an assist all season. Career AST:TO ratio: 0.015.

Sorry for the lackadaisical 3pt contest. Chip Hartman probably would have been in it if I hadn't sold him....

I got 3 guys voted into the all-star game (2 are home grown) and my merchandise jumped $10K this week. Coincidence?

In my experience, it's...

...oh, I have no allstars and generally have had high merchandise as is, so my experience is non-existent. ;)

I sold my longtime SF Kam Kil Yung who won the 3pt contest in back to back seasons and was a regular participant every season.
