I don't think it's theft when the games are broadcasted for free in the US.

Why shouldn't I watch it for free only because I'm in a different country? I bought League pass last season but was excluded from the playoffs for some reason, not sure why.

Cos the League pass only covers you for the regular season.
Playoffs cost extra =P

No they don't, the playoffs are included in the standard league pass package.

Mate most games aren't free they are all on cable that cost money.

I have austar but get almost nil coverage of the NBA, they need to sort something out with sports channels over here.

In the US you pay to get good TV.

You can't watch NBA free to air unless you have a cable package.. And if it's being shown on cable in your state, league pass won't work until the game has finished.
